John Murtha Has Lost It: Iraq
By J. Grant Swank Jr. (11/18/05)
Pennsylvania Congressman John Murtha has lost it. However, it appears as if he is the quintessential Democrat bobbed up to the surface.
Nancy Pelosi and Ted Kennedy have come close to the Murtha malaise. However, it has taken Murtha to push the Dems over the rational edge.
This is very sad. Murtha, well-respected and having served 37 years in the Marine Corps, comes to such a conclusion as would trigger untold bloodshed in Iraq, the move of Muslim murderers global throughout Europe and then the takeover of America.
Murtha has just fed the Islamic killers international with the exact phrasing that they have been hankering for. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is in glee this evening with the sentences framed by Murtha making headlines. The other 4000 Muslim web sites likewise must be quoting his every word. Mosque clerics instructing their sleeper cells in how to take over North America are laughing up their night hours with direct quotations from Murtha the Congressman.
All the while the US-led Coalition in New Iraq has to continue to fight for freedom while a Congressman back home slides his support right out from under their feet. They will have to go it on their own patriotic steam and the goodwill support from truly patriotic American citizens.
However, what is especially revealing is that Murtha speaks for the demented Dems who have no program whatsoever for freedom spreads around the world. They have no program for America’s future. They have no substantive candidate to present to either Congress or the Oval Office. They have in fact nothing but their killing agenda of slaying womb babies, traditional/biblical definitions of marriage, sexuality, femininity, masculinity and morals. They have nothing left to their speeches but harangues of hate speech in the highest screech range. They defend the death of American’s Judeo-Christian heritage as well as freedom of religion.
So it is that with the killing agenda spread across the Dem planning charts, Murtha caps it all with calling for the death of our free republic by the overthrow staged by none other than the Muslim slaughterers salivating to do just that. In the name of the Koran’s Allah, they are thirsting for America’s blood to drench the streets, boulevards and avenues.
Murtha, no doubt, will be called to lead the Muslim march for he has now become their hero in the United States Congress. He has confessed their creed for the world to hear.
The rest of us believe in patience in time. We believe that democracy is being placed in the New Iraq. We have looked back over a short time frame to realize Operational Iraqi Freedom’s Iraqi voting public, a parliament, and a constitution. Obviously, Murtha cannot see any of this or he wants it wiped out.
New Iraq can only stand on its own when its security forces and military are in place. Multinational forces are working day and night to get that done. Murtha obviously gives them no support. None. None.
New Iraq is moving forward with liberty’s breezes. Of course, there is the opposition as well as multinational forces laying down their precious lives in order that others may enjoy freedom.
Murtha sees none of this. Instead, he makes a speech calling for the immediate withdrawal of US troops. Immediate. That is one strong term to use in the halls of Congress. Immediate. I can hardly believe that that word came from the lips of a supposed aged, wise and mature Congressman. But it did.
"’We need to turn Iraq over to the Iraqis,’ Murtha told a news conference on Capitol Hill in Washington." That’s according to Bloomberg’s Jeff St.Onge in Washington.
This evening I thank God that John Kerry does not sit in the Oval Office. I thank God that US President George W. Bush lives in the White House. I thank God that John Murtha is only one vote in the US Congress. And I thank God that saner voices immediately came to the media microphones, such as Speaker Dennis Hastert of Illinois: "’Democratic leaders have adopted a policy of cut and run.’"
And House Majority Leader Roy Blunt, a Missouri Republican: "’American will not abandon Iraq.’
"’This falloff of support among the Democratic ranks is not shared by the war-fighting forces,’ said California Republican Duncan Hunter, chairman of the House Armed Services Committee."
