Hypocritical Democrats for the War After All

The Democrats had devoted 100% of their energy to making us believe they were against the war and against Bush. It seemed that their extremely vigorous and self righteous assurances meant to many that they knew what they were talking about, and even that they had a plan to end the war one way or the other. They tricked a huge part of the electorate into thinking they were right. The Commander in Chief's approval rating went way down to around 36% while his troops are bleeding and dying on the battlefield.
This must have made the Democrats so happy. Finally, after losing the House, Senate, and Presidency they were putting points on the board against the Republicans. Emboldened, they even made an affable and well respected war hero stand up in Congress and proclaim to the whole world, "it's time to bring the troops home." The applause that then echoed throughout the liberal media was nothing less than thunderous and and overpowering.
But Republicans had had enough. They knew it was a pure Democratic fraud. Rather than let the treachery continue they resorted to simply democracy. They demanded a simple yes/no vote in the House of Representatives to answer the question that echoed throughout the liberal media: "Is it really time to bring the troops home"?
It turned out that only 3 of 426 Representatives really thought it was time to bring the troops home. It is an amazing story indeed. The day before, the Democrats were so willing to trick the world into thinking that Bush was a liar who should be impeached and that they were steadfastly against him and his war, but the next day, when they were forced to go on the record in a very specific way, it turned out that they almost unanimously supported Bush.
Such pure hypocrisy and deceit must be without parallel in American history. It is yet again another example that makes us ask how such deceitful liars can legally be such a significant part of our political landscape. Moreover, it makes us wonder how much greater our country might be if the loyal opposition were indeed loyal, intelligent, and honest.
At this critical time in our history the Democratic contribution has been to lie to us that Bush, and all the intelligence services of Western Civilization, are liars, and then to lie to us about being against the war. In truth they are against the war, despite their fraudulent vote, and would bring the troops home immediately, but they don't dare say it or vote in public. Sadly for all of us, that makes Democrats cowardly liars.
It is not coincidental that Democrats don't take the obvious track and come up with a better plan than Bush's to win the war. They don't like America and so don't want to defend it, let alone promote its obviously superior values anywhere in the world. Even if you take into account the natural adversative role that any minority Party must play, there is no excuse for the low down Democrats.
