Daily Kos urges democrats to leave Hillary behind

In the developing drama Hillary has conjured, she's alienated many of her own base. It's so bad, that she's quickly becoming the plague of the democratic party.
While Bill Clinton had his own bouts with his party, he was charismatic enough to recoup his losses and sometimes pick up support where he didn't expect it. Unfortunately for the Hillary Clinton fans, she's not so lucky.
We've been saying for the last year on this blog how obviously phony she is. Everyone knows this. It's not as though we had some crystal ball. But lately her problems with the Iraqi war have risen well above what her money and celebrity status could overcome. The truth can't always be bought and sold. The different this time is that the amount of damage she's doing to her own support base is surely going to force her to question whether she should even run for office.
Trifecta, a Kos pundit says:
"Shame on the Democratic Party if they ever nominate her"
Kos contributer Trifecta says;
"More than anything else, I am ashamed of Hillary Clinton."
The Kos contributor continues:
"When you look dispassionately at some of the things [Bill and Hillary] are capable of, it should leave one very skeptical and concerned about a 'third term' for this pair."
"Holy Joe Lieberman is a true believer in this war," says Trifecta. "He may be scorned, but as idiotic as his views are, I genuinely believe these are his views. Hillary on the other hand is simply unbelievable. She protested Vietnam, knows this war was a stupid mistake, but is so damned cynical that she is engaging in this twisted posturing, all to serve her personal interests. . .
What does all this mean for Hillary? Is it crunch time? Can she even recover? That all remains to be seen. But one thing's for sure. She's covered herself by not proclaiming her intention to run for the 2008 presidential seat. She's very predictable in this sense, and is aware of her own shortcomings. She knows that if she just doesn't acknowledge it she doesn't have to defend it. So if she never says "I'm running for president" would she ever have to face the barrage of questions she'll get plastered with? It's a pretty clear picture the answer will be 'I didn't ever say I was running for president'.
What a clean get away.
