Re: Ford and General Motors are Getting What They Deserve.

Editor and Steve,
If you really want to get down to the root of the issue, it is the UAW tree, and its bitter fruits, that are the problem. The efforts of the UAW have given birth to millions of American auto workers who are overpaid and undermotivated. These workers have produced the cars which have lead to the downfall of Ford and GM through quality problems.
Steve, you are very perceptive to point out that Toyota's recalls have been on the rise. Well done. However, shame on you, for not pointing out the obvious reason behind those recalls. Toyota is now manufacturing their automobiles in the U.S.! They have been for years, coincidentally - ever since quality problems started to attack their brand image.
Some say that the UAW and all its workers need help. I say, they need to help themselves. This whole issue is a simple lesson in karma. You get what you give, and that's all you can expect from life. The only people running into these kind of problems are the people who can't accept the basic principles of karma. As the Editor of this publication pointed out, the fact that Ford and GM have had well over 3 decades to refine their ways is their crime. I am all for forgiveness, but only if it is earned or deserved.
I have been closely studying the automotive market for 2 straight years now in a professional environment. I cannot release my name, however, if the Editor of this publication (or Steve) would like to sit down and chat with me about these issues, I would be more than willing to. Please e-mail me, if you would like to know who I am, but only if this post is posted.
Cheers,
Hunter
