Let's take a look at the David M. Barret Report. This is an investigation that began 10 years ago regarding the actions of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Henry Cisneros. It’s being said that Bill and Hillary are ending up in the middle. What's the problem? You and I will probably never see the whole report. Not when it’s to be released later this month at least.
This is a problem folks. How many times are we going to allow obvious criminals to keep side stepping the law? When is enough enough?
The report has been sitting since August, 2004 with a panel of 3 in Washington D.C.. We're learning now that the report will be edited and not report the complete findings. This is thanks to an amendment in the November judiciary appropriations bill that has opened the door for these changes. Congress will be given the entire report, but the public won't.
Barret states “As it currently stands, the report will not be released in its entirety.” and later: “Some people have said it contains some serious allegations, and when people see the report, they can decide for themselves. “
This isn't being ignored thankfully. According to FOX News:
"If it turns out that the report gets released and it smells anything like a typical Clinton cover-up, we're going to activate our 1 million members," said William Greene, president of RightMarch, a Georgia-based grassroots organization that specializes in coordinating campaigns that deluge members of Congress with e-mails, faxes and phone calls on issues of interest. "We're keeping an eye on it right now."
I wonder what the odds in Vegas are on this one.
