Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano has created a new market for “51-ft.” ladders. This is what the Democrat running for re-election this year said after the House of Representatives gave its approval to a new security wall to be built on the U.S. - Mexican border: "You show me a 50-foot wall, and I'll show you a 51-foot ladder at the border. That's the way the border works."

No, this is how the border works: Illegals by the millions just walk across and U.S. citizens are helpless to stem the tide.

As for the Napolitano’s white flag response to the wall, “tunneling” may have been a better suggestion. A quick search of ladders could only produce a 32-ft. tall ladder that is readily available to the general public.

However, now that Napolitano has spoken, perhaps some enterprising business concern will unveil the new “border 51” model. Night-vision goggles sold separately.
