Re: murders in Toronto.

I read your article on murders in Toronto. You stated that it was caused by the fact that anyone can fly into Canada and claim refugee status. First of all, you are wrong on that. While still slightly more liberal than that of the US, it has been tightened up considerably. I read in the US papers recently that there are over 100 times as many people who have overstayed visas in the US than in Canada, with a population of only 10 times as many people.
Secondly a person living in Phoenix should be the last to comment about that. I have read in the US papers that you are overrun with illegal migrants. From what I have read there are probably more illegal migrants in Phoenix than there are in the whole of Canada.
Finally -
Population of Phoenix - 2004 - 1,321,045.
Number of murders in 2004 - 202.
Population of Toronto - 2004 - 5,202,300.
Number of murders in 2004 - 78.
Maybe you should take care of your own city, state and nation's problems before you make snot nosed remarks about another's.
