The PLShow: Let The Tomatoes Fly
By Resa LaRu Kirkland (02/05/06)
Sigh. I gave up playing “Let’s Pretend” decades ago…anyone have any idea when the rest of the world will do so?
We live in days long foretold. I believe that Armageddon began on May 15, 1948—the day after Israel was restored to the earth as an official nation. It was on that day that all of Islam reared its increasingly ugly head and swore to wipe Israel from the earth. That’s right; only one day after Israel was once again on the map, the wicked of the earth tried to remove it. Israel’s offense? Existence. Apparently this was enough in the psycho psyche of the Arab nations surrounding her to justify their Allah-geddon.
All of the Arab nations combined have yet to accomplish this feat, in spite of outnumbering Israel nearly 100 to 1, literally surrounding her, and owning a lion’s share of the world’s oil and wealth. They have remained backward and intolerant, murderous and unrepentant, suicidal and hellish, all while Israel has made their nation blossom in the desert, advanced, educated, tolerated, negotiated, trained, and even traded what little land they have in a vain effort to “buy peace” from people who will never give it to them so long as they live anywhere on earth. They could put their nation on pontoons and head out to sea and still Islam would seek their destruction.
Israel has shown remarkable restraint over and over again, in spite of gross violations by the Arab nations to any treaty, promise, or cease fire. The times they do defend themselves—how dare they!—they are censured and chastised. Their 9/11’s are too numerous to count, yet the UN does nothing to quell the instigator of this violence: Islam. Israel has given much and taken enough, yet the world seems determined to pretend that “this time it will be different.” Islam has never kept a treaty with Israel and they never will; the Koran forbids it.
Now we have the PLO’s terrorist organization—Hamas—as the new leader of the non-existent-but-let’s-pretend-anyway land of Palestine. We are pretending they will behave this time, in spite of the fact that they never have in the past. We are pretending that they aren’t the most vile of the vile, a fact they started proving with Munich and have yet to finish. We are pretending that their own brethren—the Arabs, who didn’t even want them—aren’t above using them to do what they couldn’t: wipe out Israel. We are pretending that the logic, reason, and common decency Israel has shown to them will be returned. I’d like to know exactly what in the past of the PLO—or Islam for that matter—gives any indication whatsoever that they are even capable of logic, reason, and common decency? These are people who shout “Off with their heads!” over a cartoon; they’re hardly made of diplomatic stuff.
Worst of all, we are proving that we do negotiate with terrorists if you attack often enough and viciously enough. The message is loud and clear: behave like animals—or in their case, Jihadniks—long enough and we’ll give in to your demands. Hell, we’ll even screw over an ally in the process!
So now we get to watch as the curtain goes up on this PLShow. Does anyone truly doubt that it won’t be a catastrophe? We have handed over the birth of a nation to people who have declared war on Jews, Christians, and freedom, and sent that bloody message over and over again. They have made it undeniably clear that they will never stop; that Islam will rule the world or the world will perish. And they have no qualms about seeing it through. They aren’t the ones lost in fantasy; they may be lost in Satan’s dogma, but fantasy? Nuh-uh…their world is very real. Really ugly, really bloody and really bad for Israel and America, and if America falls, Islammunism rules the world. Try playing “Let’s Pretend” with Akbar Kruschev—or Yiang—running the show.
We fought a war to get rid of Saddam, only to have the official law of the land in Iraq that of Islam. And Iran? Do I even need to go there? Why do we insist on making things worse? Why do we continue to allow wicked nations who have lied and cheated in the past call the shots? They have no right to kick out inspectors, to refuse to submit to reasonable requests of the international community, to flip us the bird and go on with their anti-Israel, anti-American, pro-nuclear terrorist-inspired plans, and yet they keep on doing it. Why? Because they know we won’t do a thing about it, other than write them a letter or refuse to let them play our reindeer games. Because they know that we desperately want peace, and are willing to sacrifice more and more to attain it. They have no intentions of peace under any circumstance other than world Islam, and since the Koran says that it is just to break a promise to the infidel, their beliefs and pattern tell us exactly what they will do. The only time they play “Let’s Pretend” is when they are promising something; other than that, they are steeped in a wretched reality that we refuse to acknowledge.
America and Israel are perfectly capable of “live and let live,” but Islam is not, the PLO is not, and communism is not. How many more times do they need to make that point crystal clear? Our Founding Fathers could not imagine a religion whose very foundation forbid freedom of religion; had they done so, they surely would have denoted something in the constitution concerning groups who refused to live by the rules of freedom for everyone. Oh wait a minute; THEY DID! It’s called the Establishment Clause, but if Islam has its way and takes over this nation, any bets on how long that will last? If the PLO succeeds in destroying Israel, any bets on how long before they turn their sites on us? We can pretend all we want that it isn’t true, but the problem with “Let’s Pretend” is that it ends at some point, and is usually replaced with another old favorite: “Ready or not, here I come!”
Keep the faith, bros, and in all things courage.
