The Seven C's of Disproving the Big Bang
By Rob Hood (02/10/06)
I recently read an outstanding book called Dismantling the Big Bang by Alex Williams and Dr. John Hartnett. In this book the authors describe the reasons that the Big Bang cannot stand up to real science and how Creation has more evidence than does the Big Bang Theory. The first half of the book may be a bit technical for those not used to mathematic calculations and a few lessons in astrophysics, but the last half of the book is genuinely Biblical and describes to a "T" what God had in mind when he created the world.
The one thing that stood out to me was the Seven C's of Creation which follows:
1) Creation- in the beginning God created the universe by speaking them into existence.
2) Corruption - Adam and Eve disobeyed God and brought the Curse of death and decay among them and future generations.
3) Catastrophe -Mankind continued rebellion, so God wiped out all of creation except one family (Noah) and the animals aboard the ark.
4) Confusion - After the flood and after the earth had regained population man continued to rebel, so God confused the people's languages at the Tower of Babel which eventfully led to the races and cultures we see today.
5) Christ - Christ appeared through the line of Abraham and David, though he was the Messiah and the Son of God.
6) Cross - Christ died for us to take the place of our sins.
7) Consummation - When Christ returns, the world will be destroyed and a new one created where righteousness will reign and sin will no longer prevail.
I have often told people that to believe in Christ you must believe in Creation because Christ was present at Creation. This book boldly supports that idea and is a great read for anyone wanting to argue the case of intelligent Design versus the theory of Evolution. This book can be purchased through most online bookstores or through Answers in Genesis at www.answersingenesis.org . I highly recommend it.
