When Mullahs Are Hated This Much…
By John A. Ross (02/20/06)
Iran’s manipulating Mullahs and their assassins and henchmen that call themselves elected officials and security forces are so hated by the vast majority of Iranians that it is best for outsiders to not get directly involved. Intentionally baiting the U.S., England, France, Germany and Israel with threats of developing an atom bomb and conspicuously supporting terrorists around the world, Iran’s Mullahs need to divert national attention to someone else. Blaming the U.S., Europe and Israel for the hardships most Iranians are enduring and while promoting radical Islamic values, Iran’s Mullahs want the people of Iran to create a Middle Eastern and Central Asian caliphate for them.
Except for a small percentage of radicalized Islamic followers and opportunists that benefit from the Mullahs being in power, very few Iranians approve of the Mullah’s national and international policies. Treating the Iranian people much like the Nazis and the East German Stazi treated Germans, the Iranian Mullahs and their despotic minions have demonstrated that they are every bit as brutal. Perceiving the Iranian people as stepping-stones to be used to acquire more power and wealth, the Mullahs and their private security forces routinely murder, maim and imprison anybody considered a threat.
Stuck between the manipulating Mullahs and their despotic security forces and their own societal norms that promote civil decency, the Iranian people have, at this point, little to lose. Challenging the Mullahs by openly displaying their contempt for their oppressive control, the Iranian people leave the cities or lock out the prying eyes of informers to escape from their tyranny. Too many young Iranians, unfortunately, are also turning to drugs as a means to escape the hell the Mullahs try to sell as paradise. Much like the East Europeans that were stuck behind the Soviet Union’s Iron Curtin, the Iranian people are caught in a police state that is using Iran’s resources to create another evil empire.
Aware of the Mullahs murderous manipulations the Iranian people need access to the truth not just the propaganda that their jailers want them to see and hear, to make the decision to get rid of their jailers. In addition to ensuring that they have access to the truth, the U.S., Europe and Israel must arrange to confiscate the obscene fortunes the Mullahs have stolen from the people of Iran. Exposing the Mullah’s systematic pillaging of Iran’s oil revenues and returning those funds to the country and used to modernize and create meaningful jobs for all Iranians is also needed.
Depressed and oppressed, the Iranian people need to hear the truth about the Mullahs to form the decisions that will lead to a groundswell, just as it did in Eastern Europe and Russia, to oust them. The Iranian people are every bit as sophisticated as the Eastern Europeans and have determined that they will not tolerate the Mullahs participation in the government that replaces them. Using the Russians as an example the Iranian opposition states categorically that they are, comparatively, ahead of the Russians in their quest to eliminate the Mullahs influence over Iran.
Appreciating the Iranian people’s desire to remove the Mullahs from power, President Bush is following the advice he is receiving from his advisors and opposition sources that recommend that the people of Iran remove the Mullahs from power. Recognizing the potential that something very catastrophic could occur, President Bush is betting that the Iranian people will chose freedom, secularity and peace. The American people support the Iranians desire to be free… Now they must make it happen.
