Liberals Politicizing 9/11 Is Damaging America’s Security
By Gordon Bishop (03/12/04)
Liberal Democrats are viciously bashing President Bush because 9/ll awakened America to the start of World War III between radical Muslim terrorists and the free world founded on the Judeo-Christian ethic and morality.
The world leader of the War on Terrorism is President Bush, who is bringing representative governments to nations controlled by dictators, mass murderers, and torturers.
Osama bin Laden, who declared war on America on 0/11, and Saddam Hussein, who was the most ruthless madman in the Mideast, are just the beginning of a war pitting radical Muslim terrorists against Western Civilization.
Liberal Democrats just don’t get it. They ignore the reality of 9/11 only because Bush is leading the war to save not just America, but Western Civilization as well.
This year’s Presidential election will come down to two issues: The War on Terrorism and the War on Taxes that is destroying America’s economy and families.
Liberal Democrats have no plan on either issue. They are committed to more government programs, and defending the attacks on our traditional institutions and culture.
If the liberals and terrorists win, it’s all over for America and the “rule of law.”
Liberal-driven anarchy will rule the day: Chaos and Mob Rule. It’s already happening in California and other states over the issue of same-sex marriage. ‘Damn the law! We’ll do we want!”
Anarchy has destroyed many nations over the past 2,000 years. Will America be the next to collapse?
Bush’s first re-election ad on TV has incited liberals, further dividing America between the traditionalists and the secularists – those who want the traditional values of religion, mother-father families, and respect for the law, versus those who are undermining religion, mother-father families and respect for the law.
Bush’s ad is clear and simple. The President talks about his hopes for the nation’s future and his experience in dealing with economic and national security issues. The ad is set in the wake of the Twin Towers disaster, with American flags representing the USA.
Suddenly, some relatives of the victims of 9/11 are blasting Bush for exploiting the terrorist attack on America for political gain.
My immediate reaction was: Who are these people and why are they attacking the President?
For openers, a fire fighters union that has endorsed Democrat rival John Kerry has demanded the ads be pulled.
Again, the liberals are politicizing the worst attack on America by Mideast terrorists.
So this is how the liberals are going to campaign this year: By taking the most important issue since the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, igniting World War II, and using it oust Bush and put an anti-American liberal in the White House. It’s Bill Clinton all over again. And eight years of the Clintons set the stage for 9/11.
So who’s the real world leader here?
Bush, the values-based Republican, or Kerry, the senator from Massachusetts who, after fighting in Vietnam, returned home to join the anti-war movement with “Hanoi” Jane Fonda.
Any rational taxpaying worker and voter should be able to decide who they want to represent them in the War on Terrorism and the War on Taxes (the economy).
What are particularly disturbing are those relatives of 9/11 victims joining Kerry in the attack on Bush’s message on the economy and national security, using 9/ll as the dramatic backdrop.
The only way to find out whom the victim’s relatives are attacking the President is simply to look at their party affiliation. In the greater New York metropolitan region, most registered voters are Democrats.
If the victims’ relatives are Democrats joining the Kerry reelection campaign, then you have to question their real motives.
Curiously, when New York Governor George Pataki was involved in election campaigns, he used images of himself and President Bush at the Twin Towers “Ground Zero.” Liberals did not accuse Pataki of exploiting 9/11.
The liberal Democrat party hates President Bush with a passion I have not seen in my lifetime as a reporter-columnist covering elections going back to President Eisenhower.
The era of the dysfunctional Clintons changed the rules of election campaigning by creating the “War Room.” For the Clintons and their gang, politics became a war against the enemy – the enemy that must be destroyed at all costs, regardless of the impact on America’s culture and institutions.
The Clintons war on America continues with their liberal clone, John Kerry.
