Poor Hillary is so 'picked on'
By JT Thompson (03/07/06)
Hillary Clinton is beginning to run out of people to blame. At least you'd think so. Now she's digging in and coming out with the excuse that republicans are blasting her because she's a woman. Unlike Condi Rice? I don't hear her complaining.
She's made it clear that her new scapegoat is that she's a woman, and that it's expected to get 'attacked'. Ironically in the same breath of that claim she attacked the Bush Administration multiple times.
"When you run as a Democrat, and in particular, when you run as a Democratic woman, whether you're running at the local, state or national level, it's likely you're going to draw some unfriendly fire. People will be attacking you instead of your ideas, they may impugn your patriotism, they may even say you're angry. If they do that, wear it as a badge of honor, because you know what? There are lots of things that we should be angry and outraged about these days."
Poor Hillary. They aren't picking on her because she's losing support in her own party because of her stance on the war. She's not being bashed because she doesn't know when to shut up. They aren't pummeling her because she's phony and provides little more than lip service. Her poll numbers aren't spiraling downward at terminal velocity because she's a criminal. She's not suffering the consequences of being the most failed first lady in history. No, it's because she's a woman. Would it surprise anyone that she was speaking to a group of black and Hispanic women?
How Hillary Clinton can deny being angry is impossible to understand. Or believe. But throwing out her attacking accusations at everyone else seems to be her latest modus operandi. It's hard to say with any accuracy what she's going to blame for her next failure. She's run the gamut already, and unless she wants to blame Bill there's not many people left. We sure know it won't be herself. Why take responsibility for a flailing campaign? Instead let's blame the one fact that can't be proven.
Congratulations on using the most excuses of any political figure since Bill Clinton. Did he get commission when she won her only election?
We're angry Hillary. We're angry at you for your insincerity, your lack of responsibility, your failure to support your own party, your two faced 'say one thing do another' way of life and we're angry that you could even remotely be considered a candidate to run for a seat you have never qualified for. we aren't alone either. If we need to add to the numbers we'll just go to your party. They seem to be full of people that won't support you.
