A Review of the Beginning

Many conversations involving religion, science, and politics are going right now in America. One that truly intrigues me in the Intelligent Design Movement versus the Evolution Theory. I have been reading a book by Grant R. Jeffrey called Creation: Remarkable Evidence of God's Design. Like all of his books this one is truly amazing.
The most memorable part of the book is where the author talks about what I and many other Christians have been saying all along which is simply the double mindedness of people who call themselves a Christian. These people who say they follow and trust Christ have a different approach to Creation. How can someone believe in God, yet dismiss the very first book of the Holy Bible? This is double-mindedness which simply means that someone believes in two things that contradict each other.
It is widely believed that Moses wrote the Book of Genesis. Look at what Jesus says about this in John 5:47 : "If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?" In other words Jesus was saying "If you don't believe in one part how can you believe in another?"
In his excellent book, Mr. Jeffrey portrays Creation from a scientific yet Christian standpoint using DNA technology, and many other forms of study like astronomy, chemistry, and geology as a means to put God's creation in the spotlight. The chapter on the Collapse of Evolution could not have been explained any better.
I urge everyone who is a true conservative Christian to pick up a copy of this book and join in the culture war by engaging the enemy in the battle for truth by Divine Creation. The name of the book again is Creation: Remarkable evidence of God's Design by Grant R. Jeffrey. For more information about the book and the author, go to www.grantjeffrey.com .
