Five Quick Attacks On Democratic Pestilence

1) The era of big gov't is over: This is something that Bill Clinton said in the course of a campaign during which he also proposed a) a balanced budget, b) a middle class tax cut, and c) an end to welfare as we know it. Did he mean to support basic Jeffersonian Republican principals to limit the size and scope of gov't? Of course not, he and Hillary are Democrats. He merely said it because he had an emerging Republican majority nipping at his heels. Specifically, he needed support from flip flopping independents and gullible Republicans. If Democrats were not extremely eager to preserve their ability to eventually socialize America they would support basic common sense measure such as a Balanced Budget Amendment, a spending freeze or cap, shutting down the gov't by refusing to increase the debt ceiling, or angiogenesis: a permanent tax cut or freeze until the gov't tumor is killed. Instead, they supported, for example, an even more costly prescription drug bill than the one that was passed even though it was the most costly new entitlement in 4O years at a time when the federal debt is the largest in all of American History. It's important to know what a politician says but more important to know what he really believes and the philosophy to which he subscribes.
2) Control Versus Majority- many people, actually dumb Democrats, love to blame the current situation on Republicans since they have "control." What they fail to understand is the distinction between a majority, and control. If the Republicans had enough of a majority to be in control, love would be encouraged over abortion, divorce, and cheap sex, your Social Security money would be held in a private account controlled by you rather than forcibly loaned to a drunken gov't $9 trillion in debt, health care would be privatized so the costs would go down instead of straight up like a rocket ship the threatens to impoverish every American, school vouchers would privatize education so our kids wouldn't consistently be the least educated in the civilized world, taxes would be flat and simple so personal and business decisions would made in the interest of economic efficiency rather than to dodge a Democratic encyclopedia of taxes designed to buy votes from special interest groups and to needlessly employ a make-work army of lawyers, accountants, judges, tax preparers, software programmers, revenue agents, life insurance salesman, tax shelterers, and lumberjacks (to get the paper) all of whom suck off our economy rather than contribute to it with goods and services that actually improve our standard of living. So, no, the Republicans don't have control, despite a paper thin majority. What we get in Washington then is an odd committee of opposites making an odd conglomeration for which it is hard to hold anyone responsible, except for the ideas they bring to the committee.
3) Tail wind; no sail - this should be the year for Democrats to make significant gains. Susan Estrich, famous LLD., and prominent Democratic advisor has said, "with the war making Bush so unpopular this year the Democrats have a strong tail wind at their backs; now, if only they could find a sail." What she meant was that Democrats don't believe in anything, at least not anything they dare talk about in public, so they don't present the electorate with anything specific or coherent about which to get excited and vote. The hapless Democrats tried when Rep. Murtha came out strongly against the war in the form of a "immediate redeployment",i.e., retreat from the Nazi like Saddam Fedayeen. The Republicans quickly called a vote in the Congress on the Murtha proposal and virtually none of the Democrats had the guts to support the insane resolution despite all their long boiling, pretentious anger, and self righteousness. Perhaps they figured that if George Washington didn't retreat when his toes were literally freezing off, his troops were literally starving to death, and he was outnumbered 1000 to 1, we could hang in there a little bit longer to prove that we're somewhat worth of his legacy.
Gov. John Dean once looked to be a bright spot after he had tapped into a seemingly large army of very vile and obscene Internet liberals during the last Presidential campaign. One of liberals from the Daily Kos, recently parlayed his considerable Internet support into a book that was reviewed last Sunday in the extremely liberal New York Times Book Review. Even that review ended wondering, incredulously, how the author could use up his first opportunity outside of the shadowy Internet world to write a whole book entirely about process without ever thinking to figure out to what end liberals wanted to gain control of the political process. The truth is: its sheer bigotry that motivates liberals. They have a feeling they are superior; they know it in their hearts, but they dare not put it into words where its nonsensical nature would be exposed, Murtha style, for all to see. A bigoted sense of personal superiority does not compete well with the Jeffersonian philosophy of freedom on which our country was founded and grew to be the greatest country on earth. Let's hope our Constitution is strong enough to prevent the Democrats from ever finding a significant voice in America.
4) Of Democrats and Communists - Are the Democrats Communists? Answer: probably. Republicans since Jefferson have seen freedom and capitalism as the most potent anti-poverty program ever devised on earth. Democrats have always ignored the extremely obviously results that freedom as achieved for everyone. To gain power over the system, ( a natural urge seen throughout all of world history that our Constitution was specificially designed to prevent), when none is needed, Democrats exploit the results of capitalism by simply defining the least successful capitalists as, not successful enough. It doesn't matter whether its 1810, 1910, or 2010. The least successful are never successful enough and accordingly are encouraged to sell their votes to Democrats who in turn promise to steal on their behalf from the more successful classes. This encourages the least successful to think in terms of being successful voters rather than successful capitalists, and the ranks of the least successful then swell to produce new generations of Democrats.
Sadly for all Americans, the Democratic view of freedom and capitalism is very similar to the Socialist/Communist view. This is why the KGB has said it looked among Democrats for spies. This is why after 200 years of a growing gov't Democrats still require a growing gov't. To be sure, some fiddling with capitalism may be necessary to help for example, the aged, who can't participate in the economic system but this is not to be confused with the anti capitalist, anti- freedom, class warfare, "Two Americans" , socialist strategy that Democrats are exploiting more and more despite a capitalist system that has for centuries always produced more and more wealth.
5) Bush Lied Us Into War - With new documents released this week and the publication of Cobra II we now have an even better understanding regarding WMD is Iraq. It seems even Saddam's Generals thought Saddam had WMD. They figured it was other units than the ones they commanded that had the responsibility for those weapons. Further, we learned that Saddam wanted Iran to believe he had WMD; for obvious reasons. This new evidence is on top of what Bill and Hillary Clinton said, and what John Kerry said, and on top of what Bill Clinton's CIA director said, i.e., "slam dunk." And all that is on top of what Israeli, Egyptian, Jordanian, British, French, Italian, and Russian intelligence said. And all that is on top of the cat and mouse game Saddam played with UN WMD inspectors, and his failure to account to the UN for the full inventory of WMD he used against the Kurds and Iranians. The only real question here is why the liberals aren't held accountable for their lies about WMD in Iraq?
