It's Time to Worry about Global COOLING

"...an utterly corrupt new religion called environmentalism..."
If the history of this planet's climate over millions of years is any guide, we are about to enter a new ice age.

Nation Of Laws Means . . . a nation of Law Enforcement..?
By John Longenecker (04/25/06)

As a nation of laws, we are not ruled by men (that is, rule by an elite) but laws (that is, rule by consent of the people). Actually, the key is that we’re not to be ruled at all. Not unless it’s self-rule.

Well, fine. That’s been the escape from tyranny since the beginning, right? But many Americans are worried now that we cannot effect change from here.

Since the beginning, someone along the way wants to hijack our way of life.

America will always be under attack for this because we have things here, from blessed concrete assets to values people want to live under in their great egress to come here from around the world, and we have obstacles to protect against the looting of those things. One of those obstacles is our sovereignty, a favorite subject of mine. I write directly to non-gun owners.

Backing that sovereignty is our constitutionally lawful force, equal to or greater than the authority and force of officials who are delegated by us. That constitutionally lawful personal force numbers around 80 million [adults] or so by last count, not to mention tens upon tens of millions of other adults who side with the sovereign over the servant. (In this, even emgires and public servants choose sovereignty of self over authority of office. Not surprising, since office derives its authority from the people and since everyone wants to go home at night and have a home to go home to. Values. Priorities. Of these values and priorities, it’s probably safe to say that they prefer Liberty over Peace when it gets down to it. I know I do.)

The looting is approached shrewdly, with subtlety. In fact, as part of that subtlety, unlawful force is used by those opposed to America when officials use the immortal and ubiquitous violent crime to do their dirty work for them in justifying peculiar political choices.

One such way to utilize crime as doing the dirty work for officials’ objectives is to pay lip service to the concept of our being a nation of laws (to obtain cooperation), but having done nothing about crime for forty years or more. (Take a look at child molestation in both adjudications and policy, murders of police officers and much more, seemingly unending.) Crime continues to serve officials by being the Bogeyman most elusive. You can’t seem to get ahold of him, that tricky wisp of smoke. Crime grows, nothing seems to work.

Ah, but one thing works if you remember a few things in planning for the safety of your home and of your nation:

1. Police have no mandate to protect individuals. They never did. Law enforcement is an after-the-fact profession, in detection, apprehension, prosecution, incarceration, administration of justice, etc. It’s a dignified, worthwhile and necessary profession, but they don’t tell us, we tell them. [Think of police chases, choke-holds and other practices the people eradicate from police work and you’ll know who can run things if they muster the will and use their sovereign authority.] The gun confiscation in New Orleans, the subsequent defiance of a court order to that city to return weapons are examples of rule by elite against the will of the people until the people say enough! Enforcement over-reach?

2. People already have the authority to act in self-defense when facing grave danger. There is no substitute for this, which is why people need to know that police have no mandate to protect them. Often, people are talked out of this will and resolve by peer pressure, disinformation and erasing values to cultivate dependency on officials. The old fraud was “I’m from the government and I’m here to help you.” Now the new intimidation is, “I want to help, whether you allow it or not.”

3. People are the first line of defense in time of violent crime. Lawful use of a gun to stop a crime annually outnumbers the criminal use of a gun by more than 70 to 1. But what about the people who are politically talked out of self-defense. What if they’d like information or an environment where they can change their mind?

4. Crime is not fought by adhering more and more to sweeping, go-nowhere, obligatory anti-crime policies against the law-abiding – crime is fought instance by instance by individuals who refuse to be a victim.

But officially recognizing and then employing these truths to fight crime by protecting homes and persons would unwind the whole illusion of safety in the dependency on official agencies. That’s why it’s opposed so in Kalifornia, New York, Washington. D.C. and elsewhere: it means MONEY. Tying the hands of the honest is to push aside your sovereignty to loot the territory with an advance man Bogeyman justifying all anti-crime laws.

This is done by selective enforcement (punishing gun owners and innocent victims of crime) and selective non-enforcement, such as over-crowding, early-release and sanctuary cities. It is also done by criminalizing otherwise perfectly legitimate behaviors. [In Kalifornia, they want to allow only those weapons which stamp bullets as they leave the barrel. Not only is this stupid and probably unworkable, but how do you stop a crime this way? Criminals don’t buy their weapons retail to come under the authority of regulations.]

Those who want to loot America – officials who benefit from continuing criminal violence and criminalizing self-defense – dedicatedly endorse tighter and tighter surveillance of everyone, again, having no effect on the criminal.

This is where enforcement is no longer a servant of the people in justice, but a tool of the elite for gain in prestige and clout.

Allowing crime to continue is the cold-blooded basis for the looming National ID Cards (you can’t tell the good guys from the bad guys without a program, but then without an ID, you won’t buy food or fuel, either) and the RFID Chips for human tracking worldwide, both allegedly anti-crime measures. Like most impositions on the law-abiding, it will never touch the criminals.

Of course, because officials cannot protect individuals during the act and because every violent crime serves officials more with each illegal act, I urge the nationwide repeal of all gun laws as anti-American by dint of tying the hands of honest people to defend themselves, to walk and breathe free from dependency on agencies, and to defeat the stealth political looting of the nation that relies on disarming Americans to continue.

Officials may argue how much they fear consequences of increased civil disturbance, but it’s more likely to be increased civility, and therefore lesser need for agencies. Predictions of dire consequences of guns in the hands of the law-abiding have never materialized in the states where guns are legally carried open or concealed. This is because the honest are too reasonable, the standard of most law in America. It is the criminals who are unreasonable. And restricting the honest in order to reach the criminal is something quite unreasonable. Ineffectual. Unjust.

Violent crime is an excuse to introduce more and more intrusive legislation and policy which will never reach the criminal.

And besides, public servants don’t get an opinion anyway. They get instructions.

Individuals already on scene can stop grave danger better than police who are not on scene. Reaction after-the-fact has, of course, stopped nothing.

The armed citizen works in the majority of states of the union not under vigilanteism, but under the legal authority of every sovereign person. Why not try it nationwide if you’re really serious about violent crime?

A winning plank on anyone’s platform would be to follow through on these – defeating National ID Cards and RFID, and repealing all gun laws – for several reasons: it would affirm that the American People are in fact sovereign. It would prove that due process works and works well.

It would improve the rapport between officials and the governed in order to get stuff done.

Imagine the revenues it would free up for more important endeavors.

It would get you elected (to get a lot more stuff done).

Anything else confirms the looting of the nation, pushing aside our sovereignty to overcome our authority.

Because crime is not fought by our surrendering more and more sovereignty to go-nowhere anti-crime policies (such as National ID Cards and RFID Tracking) – crime is fought instance by instance by individuals who resist with their lawful authority and righteous superior force.

Drop all the gun laws – name one gun law that reaches criminals and stops a crime and name one gun law that doesn’t injure the rights of the innocent – and the rest will take care of itself.

All of the intrusive surveillance policies to come are based entirely on the premise of fighting crime. Part of that is in criminalizing honest conduct in a self-perpetuating agenda.

Untie the hands of the citizen and you discredit them all and return sovereignty to the citizen.

It’s a winning platform.

And for anyone with that fire in the belly, it’s good for the country.

The United States Is Being Overthrown By Our Politicians - "A silent but all-reaching coup is taking place within the United States. This coup is not being directed by bomb-laden Muslim terrorists, nor will it ever be covered by the mainstream media. The seditious act is being carried out by our very own elected officials, with President Bush leading the insurrection."

"The FDA has conveniently used the excuse of looking out for consumer safety to increase their perverse regulatory power, undermine free speech, disrupt commerce, and generally get in the way of helping people improve their health. The "half-truth" of the safety issue is used as a ploy to reduce the rights of Americans, one freedom at a time. Once again, the FDA is seeking more police power to intimidate supplement companies. This is one step in an overall FDA master plan to eliminate therapeutic nutritional supplements from the free market. Those who lose are the American public." The FDA - A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
