PC IS the Terrorists Best Friend
By Pete Fisher (06/07/06)
Talking to a veteran who recently returned from Iraq, we were discussing the current events concerning the military being accused of killing citizens, as well as going back to the Abu Ghraib trials.
He told me that the first deployment to Iraq was the best, and he would prefer not to go back there as it is today. He told me that the first time he was there the restrictions that exist today were not in place. The soldiers had more freedom to do their job, and more was accomplished in his opinion. He told me that the next time he was there, the accommodations and equipment were better than the first time, but the political atmosphere had disintegrated the morale of many men and women. It had, in his opinion, become a political war where documenting every move on every mission in log books became as tedious as the heat.
A Vietnam veteran was also in the conversation at that point, and he made the comment that his stint in Vietnam was early on as well, and his job was basically unfettered by the politics that later entered into the war, and his opinion demoralized the soldiers with the help of the Press and movie stars like Jane Fonda.
The Main Stream Media is fast to run to the aid of the enemy in this nation for some reason. From the days where in the Wild West, the newspapers backed our soldiers, to WWII where our enemies were referred to as “Huns” and “Japs”, and our soldiers extolled as the liberators of the world, we have certainly come far in the opposite direction. We have to find articles about Al Queada killing pods of children in more hidden news sources around the Internet.
Our politicians have become as chameleons, changing their colors with whoever comes around them. Very few seem to pick something and stick to it, and run to make lame excuses when questioned about something they said by the reporters. Our media in this nation seem to pick on America and our soldiers while leaving the terror elements alone. They push the Liberal agenda that espouses a strange hatred for America and what we stand for, as if trying to cover guilt for all injustices done to mankind that are perceived or real.
Islam has shown us that appeasement is not possible. As shown this past weekend in Canada where several terrorists were arrested with explosives and detonation devices along with plans to blow up Canadian interests.
Canada has had a very liberal policy toward Muslims, why would Muslims desire to destroy Canada in any way? They did so simply because they wanted to be heroes in the Islamic world after embracing the principles of Wahabbi Islam. Second generation citizens, and residents of Canada plotted to do this. Not some far away cult who sent their agents of terror into Canada from training camps in Pakistan. So why is it be such a crime to begin targeting Muslim males who are of the age groups and nations of origin that comprise the majority of terror acts?
Because PC does not allow it, that is why. Anyone who does this is immediately scourged as being a hate monger and racist. The PC names come flying out, “Mean Spirited”, “Nazi”, “Racist” whenever we dare speak of targeting the usual suspects. President Bush has been under fire for tapping phones that were known to have been used to call individuals in parts of the world where terrorists are trained, having been dialed by people who have been suspected of ties to these people. What is truly wrong with this practice?
Our soldiers are not perfect; no one is if we are all honest with ourselves. And mistakes get made in every circumstance and in every war. It is sad, we try to make things better and perform our duties better, but the last thing they need is to be crucified in the news every time mistakes are made. When soldiers have to walk on egg shells to fight an enemy who fights as a coward using women, children, false uniforms, kidnapping and beheading, they become less effective. When they have to worry whether they are in conformance with the latest policies and are afraid if they make the wrong move they will end up discharged in shame or imprisoned, their morale and performance will never be up to their courage and loyalty they display for their country.
When politicians and military leaders fret about the media attacking them for things that happen during war, we have already begun to lose. When our citizens actually stand and protest the funerals of these brave men and women without shame and honor for those who died to keep our freedoms alive, we have traded in our national honor for the sake of being PC.
This is why the enemy loves PC. They can manipulate the press and turn the tables on public opinion. They see the weakness of those who succumb to PC and laugh like hyenas as American citizens protest our soldiers and weep for the dead enemy. They love abusing the justice system to create special rights for Islam, while remaining silent about the slow and deliberate eradication of Christianity in our schools and government.
PC is the tool of the Main Stream Media, and it is the preferred weapon of those who desire our harm. The media cares less as long as they profit by the scandals they create. The terrorists care less as long as they can continue to have their acts hidden by the media, even when killing children.
It is about time we begin to revert to a less PC society and show the media and politicians that we prefer to speak as we desire, and not as we are told. We should be able to make decisions according to common sense and not have a PC guideline next to us.
PC is the friend of the terrorist folks. And any friend of Bin Laden is no friend of mine.
