How To Destroy America
"Government is not a solution to our problem[s],

It's Time to Worry about Global COOLING

"...an utterly corrupt new religion called environmentalism..."
If the history of this planet's climate over millions of years is any guide, we are about to enter a new ice age.

CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper indicated in a 1993 interview with the Minneapolis Star Tribune that he wants to see the United States become a Muslim country.
Deval Patrick IS The Race Card
By Bob Parks (10/06/06)

We’re a little over a month from the general election, but why are we kidding ourselves? Deval Patrick IS going to be the next governor of Massachusetts. I hope I’m wrong, but there is one major issue of influence outside of blind, partisan voting at play here.

Deval Patrick is going to be elected for one reason and one reason only: he’s black.

I know some of you out there will take great offense to that reasoning, but all I can say is you know it’s true.

While it’s always fashionable to call Republicans racist, especially here in Massachusetts, her liberals have had more than their own instances of overt racism. With a black man running for governor, and a civil rights activist black man at that, liberal white guilt will be the motivating factor on November 7, 2006.

Let’s not forget Boston’s infamous history. For those of you who didn’t grow up here, do a search on Democrat Louise Day Hicks, busing, and Restore Our Alienated Rights (ROAR). The school-segregation-busing issue tore this city apart and Boston has never completely recovered from Hick’s legacy. Liberals subconsciously see Deval Patrick as the long overdue remedy to redress lingering Democrat racism.

Local publications like the Boston Globe and Phoenix respectively, have gone out of their way to be easy on Deval. Wouldn’t want to look like they were piling on a poor, defenseless minority. Other candidates are forced to watch what they say to the “front runner” because to be hard on him could be construed as insensitive. In fact, no opportunity will be passed up to defend Deval using the race card….

The latest controversy in this campaign surrounds the stereotypical impression that brothers stick up for brothers, no matter what. See “OJ Simpson”.

According to Andrea Estes of the Globe, “Deval L. Patrick, who a week ago said his “sole involvement” in the campaign to free a convicted rapist was a letter he wrote more than a decade ago, acknowledged last night that he made a financial contribution in 2001 to help pay for a DNA test the inmate hoped would free him from prison.”

A little background here. In a speech transcribed and posted on his campaign website, Deval Patrick said, “I spent three remarkable years in Washington in the first Clinton Administration. I headed the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, the agency responsible for enforcing the Nation’s civil rights laws. In the days before Monica, that was a real ‘hot seat.’”

I’m not sure what that last line meant, but essentially Mr. Patrick looked for racism, whether it was there or not.

As a Clintonista, Deval is obviously afflicted by the memory-loss disease and there are some citizens who are steaming mad about his financially aiding a man who beat and raped an elderly woman for eight hours in her own home.

The Globe article continued, “Earlier yesterday, Patrick said he had ‘absolutely no memory’ of contributing to the effort. But late last night, an aide to Patrick said that after reviewing the thank-you letter, it appeared that Patrick made the financial contribution.

“Asked why Patrick’s description of his involvement has changed over the past week, Patrick’s senior adviser Doug Rubin said that Patrick at first did not recall the details of the case.”

Don’t that bring back memories….

“LaGuer, who was convicted of binding and raping a 59-year-old neighbor in Leominster for eight hours in 1983, is serving a life sentence at the maximum-security Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley. He has long maintained his innocence. Many lawyers, educators, and public officials have supported LaGuer, but the support dwindled after a 2002 DNA test linked him to the crime.”

When Deval Patrick becomes governor, will have to represent all of Massachusetts’ citizens, not just those who live near Blue Hill Avenue. The editorial pages have gone easy on Patrick, for the most part. Mike Dukakis was raked over the coals because of Willie Horton, but when a brother is defending a brother it must be because there is no way a black man can receive justice, especially in Massachusetts.

But what happens when it turns out the black man did it…?

An honorable person will admit his or her mistakes, even in the midst of a political campaign. This can be regarded as a plus. However, people associated with Clinton never seem to be able to admit when they’re wrong and Deval continues to defend his espousal for LaGuer to this day. “I don’t think it was a mistake. I am proud of what I did.”

Deval has made few statements to date in support of the real victim. He probably has the victims mixed up.

“Asked whether he would still advocate on LaGuer’s behalf, ‘knowing what you know now,’ he replied in the affirmative. Patrick did not elaborate. Later, an aide explained that Patrick would advocate for LaGuer again because he may not have received a fair trial. LaGuer, Patrick said, had raised ‘serious issues’ alleging that racism may have been a factor in the jury’s decision to convict.”

Boston went through decades of unease spurred on by the legacy of busing and the racism promoted by Democrats before, during, and after. Deval Patrick may be able to put some consciences to rest, but not if he chooses to look for racism where it is not.

The Globe reported that Patrick had written two letters to the state Parole Board, one of them six years ago, seeking LaGuer’s release. Patrick also wrote two personal notes to LaGuer in prison But it gets better.

According to the Globe, which is only relaying the words of others to avoid criticism, “Kerry Healey campaign workers attended Patrick’s press conference, handing out a news release pointing out Patrick’s ties to LaGuer. The release, titled “Dear Ben. Best Regards, Deval,” drew a sharp response from Patrick.

“I haven’t lived my life or run my career trying to make sure there isn’t some opportunity for somebody in some campaign… to take a cheap political shot,” he said. “Let me just say… as much as I respect the lieutenant governor, that is a cheap political shot.”

In other words, don’t throw my words back in my face. That’s racist. This is a political campaign, but as I am black, to remind people of previous poor judgment on my part is a cheap shot, which in this case is code for racist.

Once governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick will have an advantage no other has ever had: the ability to exhibit poor judgment and not be called on it with the standard ferocity. Patrick’s actions, before and after, in the LaGuer case has shown he is not the best choice for the position. But that won’t stop his “Together We Can” lemmings.

However, as the first Affirmative Action governor of The Bay State, he doesn’t have to be the best choice. As his positions on the real issues are vague at best, the state of Massachusetts will endure four years of tumult. Patrick’s liberal agenda will be codified with the aid of a Democrat legislative super majority on Beacon Hill.

When more businesses and productive citizens leave Massachusetts, Patrick will be the last person to be blamed. To do so would be considered racist, and that’s the beauty of his campaign today.

Tim Murray is not Deval Patrick’s running mate. Political correctness is, and in a dark blue state, that’s all he really needs.

The United States Is Being Overthrown By Our Politicians - "A silent but all-reaching coup is taking place within the United States. This coup is not being directed by bomb-laden Muslim terrorists, nor will it ever be covered by the mainstream media. The seditious act is being carried out by our very own elected officials, with President Bush leading the insurrection."
"The FDA has conveniently used the excuse of looking out for consumer safety to increase their perverse regulatory power, undermine free speech, disrupt commerce, and generally get in the way of helping people improve their health. The "half-truth" of the safety issue is used as a ploy to reduce the rights of Americans, one freedom at a time. Once again, the FDA is seeking more police power to intimidate supplement companies. This is one step in an overall FDA master plan to eliminate therapeutic nutritional supplements from the free market. Those who lose are the American public." The FDA - A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
