What Now? I'm Sorry To Say...

Sunday October 8 started with a request from a friend of mine, DC of Chimpsy Radio, to record an interview regarding what was then only the threat of a nuclear test from North Korea. I revealed for the first time a fact I’ve shared with only a few close associates in the past.
Back in 1997, I was in contact with a Major who was stationed along the DMZ. Three years earlier, NK had thrown their usual temper tantrum in order to blackmail and bludgeon America into giving them money, supplies, and a nuclear reactor. Fortunately for them, the Capitulator-in-Chief happily complied, in direct jaw-dropping defiance of the certain conclusions such an act would cause. So I asked him:
Does North Korea have nukes?
He paused. I took this interlude to mean he was considering the question.
I was sorry to learn it was actually stunned silence.
“Resa, don’t you know? Everyone here knows they have nukes; the American soldiers, the ROK, China, Japan. You mean you don’t know? Of course they have nukes! How do you not know that? Everyone knows!”
My turn for stunned silence.
He was the first one to make clear to me the growing connection that was developing between Islam and this communist stronghold. He told me of unsettling intelligence that seemed to be increasing between Pakistan and North Korea—what we would come to know as the great Khan Con. Back then most of us thought that these two strange bedfellows—religious theology and secular ideology—were too diametrically opposed to ever team up. The two had fought a war in Afghanistan; we were secure in their hatred of one another.
We would be sorry for this illusion.
Their hatred for one another was overwhelmed only by their hatred for us. The unthinkable had occurred—Islam and Communism were coming together in an unholy alliance, a Hitler/Stalin type non-aggression pact that would concentrate their efforts against us by a temporary truce with one another. Both sides, no doubt, intend to eventually take the other one out, just as Hitler and Stalin both planned to do after taking over Europe; Hitler merely beat Stalin to it. But first they must take out America, Great Britain, and Israel.
It is absurd to believe that Clinton didn’t know what the grunts at the DMZ knew in 1997. He knew it was his fault, and he knew he would be blamed. So he did the only thing a person of his ilk could do: hide and suppress the inevitable for as long as possible, and then when it is exposed, distract, evade, lie, and deny.
After telling this tale to DC, he asked me outright: Is all of this just more NK posturing, or will they actually detonate a nuke?
My answer? Absolutely. Whether they do it tomorrow or next year, it is inevitable.
Sorry, DC…it was just so obvious.
Now normally I don’t trust the predictions of anyone who isn’t a prophet of God or a strategic mastermind. I’m neither, so please go into this knowing that it isn’t coming from a genius, a psychic, or even someone who’s all that smart. I am painfully average at best. So here goes.
First, China. I’ve heard much talk that NK’s test is a humiliation for China. No way. China has for years been playing Double Agent: a bowing, smiling capitalist for American money, technology, and secrets, and a sneaky, conniving, communist secret combination in absolute cahoots with North Korea. You see, we know where every nuke, missile, army, ship, weapon stash, etc., is inside of China. They can’t fart in a silo without us registering it. They need North Korea, who is mysterious, closed off, and totally isolated, with little technology for our technology to bounce off of. They WANT North Korea to have all of this ability so that when NK attacks, China can, in the initial fog of war, take early advantage of the surprise. Make no mistake; when NK attacks, China will back them. All of the “We’ll talk some sense into Kim” that they’ve been promising and so-called tough measures haven’t failed because of Kim; they have failed because China never intended to enforce them, in spite of what they told us. We have been witness to a great smoke and mirrors, song and dance, magician’s distraction from China. What has been going on backstage bears little resemblance to the show.
Second, the UN. Who cares what that morally bankrupt, useless, impotent, kow-towing one world group has to say? We’ve had enough of their we’re-serious-this-time, don’t-make-us-come-up-there!, “Yo’ Mama!” paper cuts of triviality to last us several nuclear-fried lifetimes. No reason to waste time “predicting” here. Let’s move on.
Third, Islam. See above paragraph, minus the “make-believe” outrage, and replace “one world” with “one religion.”
And finally, America. We’re the ones that really matter, the ones the world is looking to. Don’t like it? Deal with it Frenchy, I’m busy.
Here is my prediction for us. Given the trends in history, the emotion inherent within man, and the constant, non-stop use of emotion by the Hippy Press and Leftist Losers who dominate our information/education systems in order to disarm the logic center of our brains, we will become an acknowledged Socialist society within three years and a hard-line one world communist state within five years. This will come about because of our outcry after a massive disaster/attack of—ahem—“some type,” when our emotional overload will cause us to choose security over freedom, in defiance of logic and reason due to said emotional overload.
It’s inevitable. I’m sorry…believe me I’m sorry.
As many of the conservative commentators who were interviewed on FOX NEWS the night of October 8 said, it is too late now, and as much as I despise this fact, it is wrong to play “Let’s Pretend.” It has happened. Oh, we still need to fight and work to keep freedom; the good people of this nation are still the world’s greatest asset and hope. But there is a reason that we will need Christ to “not stay His return one more day.”
We will need Him to return when He does to save us because we will be losing. He told this to His apostles before He was killed. Men’s hearts will fail them, He explained. Evil will so consume the earth that there will be no one who can intervene and save us this time; no foreordained warrior or group will be able—or more portentous, willing—to stop it. It will take the Son of God Himself to save us. There will be righteous here still, of course, His prophet, His people, and the good people of the earth; it will be for their sake that He will not stay His return even one more day. But make no mistake…up until the point of His return, we will be losing. The only thing that we learned on Sunday night was yet another of the many ways this will most likely to happen. We’ll win in the end because of our Savior, of course, but the road to that point is not going to be pretty.
Our own people—make that our own Hippy people—are already crying that we give in to the North’s demand for bilateral talks with the US rather than the six-way unilateral ones that are more intelligent. The emotion caused by the nuke test—that of fear—is working beautifully on the ad hominem of our home-grown left. Given the past 40 years, I am forced to conclude that we will eventually give in and do so.
Again, I’m sorry.
I am also hearing the first ominous rumblings—again from the Hippies and their Lapdog Left—of “What would it hurt to be an Islamic nation? Would it really affect us that much?” and “If we just say we’ll live shariah, then they’ll leave us alone!”—I didn’t say they were smart, just rumbling—and the classic “Let’s not piss them off anymore than they already are!” Hard to believe, but eventually the bulk of the world will give in to this one as well.
You guessed it…I’m sorry. Really, really sorry.
So for now, we’ll use some “tough language,” piss and moan, wag our finger at them, and perhaps even have a few fleeting moments of victory. But mostly we’ll do the PC thing so no one gets angry and inevitably, everyone will get hurt. Nothing effective will be done because we have been thoroughly castrated by PC and the UN—we’ve failed more than our will, we’ve failed our hearts.
Remember back when WE got angry? Remember when an attack on our nation made US enraged, unified, and victorious? Remember when this tiger was the real thing and not some paper sketch? I sure do…we were invincible then, when we were Cowboys. Now it is actually against the law to do the right thing. It would have been nice to see if the people of North Korea had what it takes—with just a little help—to overthrow evil the way we once did.
I’m sorry, NK people.
There was a time when we knew what worked and weren’t afraid to use it. There was a time when sanctions were applied once, and then followed with that which really did the trick. There was a time when we meant what we said, and used more than words.
Those days are long gone, and again…well, you know.
What now? I suppose I’ll have to re-tape the show—by the time it airs this Saturday it will be hopelessly outdated. Other than that, it’s up for grabs. We’re in uncharted territory now. All we can do is hang on—it’s going to be a rough ride.
I feel massive heart failure coming on. How very sorry indeed.
