Front Page Display adjustments and other fun stuff...
By Editor (12/25/06)
Finally made some progress with the formatting of the front page.
Still some unresolved issues with the CSS, but have implemented some hacks as work arounds.
Many cycles of checking with the W3C validator, resolved errors and design problems.
The CSS now reports no errors and no warnings. The HTML is down to about 43 errors and most of them are created by the content of the columns (illegal characters generated by Word Processors).
This Nucleus CMS software is very powerfull and also terribly complex to manage. It is also is at the mercy of the PHP and MySQL systems used to generate the pages.
As usual, I continue to address any means of making the site pages load faster. Inclusion of images is a penalty, but I feel it has its rewards by enhancing to content.
All that being said, I plan give you a good informational experience in 2007. We have recently added new authors, that promise to further expand our coverage.
