Ann Coulter: Let’s do Dinner
By J. James Estrada (03/07/07)
Ann Coulter used the word "faggot" while making fun of Hollywood and liberals who sent actor Isaiah Washington to rehab for using the word while describing a fellow actor. Yes, it shouldn't have been done at the CPAC gathering which forced Republican presidential candidates to denounce her comments. And yes, it shouldn't have been connected to Democrat candidate for president John Edwards. In the meantime, however, phony global warming evangelist Al Gore and Bush-hater Joe Wilson the Liar, are paraded about and lauded on liberal television and given Oscar's and presented with sainthood by the same people who find Coulter's jab to be an unpardonable sin.
Coulter should restrict these kind of comments to her college campus speaking tours, or, to the pages of her books – which are mostly best sellers. I like Coulter and see the need for someone like her in the battle against dangerous liberal theology like global warming in the public square (what ever happened to separation of church and state?). The next time she comes to the Phoenix area, I’d like to buy her dinner and chat awhile. We can discuss, like the aforementioned Edwards, what Jesus is truly offended by in American life today. Does using the word “faggot” have the same weight in Heaven as taking the life of an unborn child in the womb (just one, never mind 40 million)? I really don’t have to wonder about that.
