Good For The Country- All Romance, No Love; The Looting Of The Nation
By John Longenecker (04/02/07)
Crises in America seem to be intractable, unresponsive to every proposed solution - every solution but one, that is.
That single solution could reverse all of the crises in a single night. In talks I give, I start by saying that the seemingly unending series of crises in America can be turned around in a single night.
It can. The direction of the country can be turned around by the realization of what isn’t being used, and that is Independence.
All crises in America depend very heavily on obfuscating personal action in Independence, especially by coercive laws that punish responsible personal action in time of facing grave danger. Gun control is one such example. But it goes a lot deeper as gun control takes more than guns – it takes away the concept of being a nation of laws and it takes personal sovereignty and interprets it to adjust to the crisis.
Let’s take School Shootings. I’m often asked: What is a Victim Disarmament Zone? It is hardly a metaphor, but a reality.
I explain that it is usually a public area where personal action in independence in law is blocked by another operation of law such that two messages are sent to two different sections of our society. In time of a mass shooting, one message goes to the citizens: "Don’t do anything until the police get there." It's a nationwide policy And one message goes to the murderers: "You have four minutes."
Brilliant. This kind of thinking keeps crisis alive for self-dealing instead of the public interest.
Do you believe that the crisis of school shootings, church shootings or mall shootings can be turned around in a single night?
It can be once Independence is put back the way it was. The very perspective that personal Independence is superior to any law or policy activists can conceive in their wildest dreams of social engineering is the beginning of changing the direction of the nation.
Independence is vital to this country, and it is being pushed aside for the sake of looting this country. Looting takes place when sovereignty is pushed aside and profiteering takes place in commercial or official solutions to crises that should never even come into existence if personal Independence flourishes.
So, in the absence of personal Independence - the law of the land - the crises never resolves no matter what is done. Naturally, the industry or agency isn’t going to make itself obsolete by recognizing personal authority. This is where the nation gets a lot of romance, but no love. That’s cleaning it up a bit.
As we know, love is not a feeling, but an action. And that means that the opposite of love is not hate, but selfishness.
The self-dealing of crisis management as it exists today --- in anger management, conflict resolution and other decerebrate policy that might as well state that people are stupid – is to treat the nation this way, looting her – to put it nicely – by the commercial and official agency solutions of everything but the most effective: Independence of the individual as a sovereign.
Because personal Independence can make stupid go-nowhere policies ridiculous and impeach them, and that’s why it’s discouraged, punished and hidden. Whole texts taught to our kids hide the concept of personal authority to act, setting them up to be cooperative when it is officials who should do the cooperating.
This romancing would make the entire nation one big Victim Disarmament Zone, taking not only the means of self-defense, but also civilian authority. (Civilian authority is a self-defense of its own, and that's what's being discouaged.)
The concept of looting the nation by continuation of crisis is nothing new, but the reawakening of Independence is. it was never really gone, just hidden.
It can turn things around in a single night. And instead of disarming the nation, we disarm the looters.
Through Independence as the law of the land, Freedom can take care of itself.
And that’s good for the country.
Looting of the nation is best stopped by civilian authority. Use your authority. See http://TransferOfWealth.net/
