Liberals Boycotting Fox News Network
By Gordon Bishop (05/08/07)
America's liberals have drawn the line: It's ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, PBS, etc. versus the Fox News Channel owned by Australian communications mogul Rupert Murdock, who also owns the New York Post and many other publications.
The two leading liberal presidential contenders – U.S. Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama – are boycotting the Fox News Network (FX) because they say Fox is biased in favor of conservatives.
So what about all the other liberal biased networks? Conservatives don’t boycott these networks when it comes time to hold debates between Democrat candidates for public office.
The motto for Fox is distinctively clear: “Fair and Balanced” (which has been picked up by CNN, founded by Ted Turner in 1980 and is a liberal platform for the Democrat party.) Turner was married to actress “Hanoi” Jane Fonda, who sat on a big gun in North Vietnam and declared that American forces jet planes should be shot down during the Vietnam War.
Isn’t that treason?
Not for famous Far Left entertainers!
The Fox news channel gives both Democrats and Republicans EQUAL time, which the major networks do not.
What really boils the radical left wing of the Democrat party is that Fox is growing faster worldwide than CNN.
Example: Fox’s popular prime-time program, “The O’Reilly Factor,” drew more viewers than CNN’s superstar Larry King in the TV ratings. So CNN was forced to bump “The King” from 8 pm to 9 pm, a huge victory for Fox for the valuable 8 p.m. time slot.
Remember when Larry King convinced multi-billionaire Ross Perot to run for President when Bill Clinton decided to throw his hat in the ring in 1992? Perot got 20 million votes, allowing the liberal Clinton to win the presidency by less than 93 percent (certainly not a majority Presidency for Clinton, but enough to beat then President George Herbert Walker Bush, the father of our current President).
King delivered big time for his kooky boss, Ted Turner.
To make sure a Republican would not win against Clinton in 1996, Perot ran again, giving Clinton less than 50 percent of the vote. Republican Bob Dole lost.
In the 2004 presidential election, George W. Bush knocked out the two “Johns” (Kerry and Edwards) with a 51 percent to 48 percent victory! At last, a “majority” President! Bush garnered more than 60 million votes – not bad for a Texas Ranger who was brutalized by the liberal media, and is still a political survivor as the world’s only leader in the global war on terror.
So much for the “power’ of the liberal media.
Voters and taxpayers and finally realizing that conservative values and traditions are in the best interest of America’s culture and economy, not the tax-and-spend liberals in our State Houses and the U.S. Congress.
American voters, as they say, “may be dumb, but they’re not stupid.”
Thank God for small favors.
When it comes time for the Hillary and Obama and Edwards debates on the liberal networks, you can count on our country’s voters to make sure the ratings will be less than 50 percent
There is a big difference between a true blue Democrat and Far Left liberal. Presidents Harry Truman and John F. Kennedy were true blue Democrats. Since Kennedy, the Far Left has hijacked the once great Democrat Party. America can’t afford the likes of a Clinton, a Jimmy Carter, Walter Mondale, Michael Dukakis or a George McGovern.
What America sorely needs are more Ronald Reagans – true leaders and statesmen.
