Judas L.A. Police Chief Sides With Mexican Hezbollah

In the wake of the violent illegal immigrant rally which took place in Los Angeles, that city's police Chief William Bratton has been joining the liberal media in criticizing his own officers. Once the invaders from Mexico crossed the line from demonstrating into rioting, LAPD had no choice but to meet their aggression and protect life and property. The officers used non-lethal methods to put a stop to the mayhem and used restraint even though some of their own were injured by the thugs. Despite the excellent performance by his officers in defending the city, Chief Bratton has turned on his troops and now appears to be another gutless politician rather than a part of the thin blue line.
Many of the protesters wore masks and bandannas on their faces and more closely resembled the Mexican version of Hezbollah than the hardworking families that President Bush tells us are here. Police had to regain control over the crowd who turned violent and spilled out of Macarthur Park and into the street. Rioters set up a barricade in the street with trash cans, threw garbage at passing motorists, attacked a city bus, and hurled objects at police.
At least a dozen police officers were injured as the protesters pelted them with rocks and bottles. One officer was even pushed off of his motorcycle by the thugs.
The day after the incident, Chief Bratton began making the rounds of morning news shows and seems to relish the role of traitor. He made the following statement on KNX-AM: "Quite frankly, I was disturbed at what I saw." He went on to say that the actions of his officers "were inappropriate in terms of use of batons and possible use of non-lethal rounds fired."
Incredibly, Andre Birotte who is LAPD's inspector general, told reporters that he is now trying to determine if officers gave the crowd the dispersal order in Spanish!
Now the Justice Department under Alberto Gonzalez is investigating the actions of the officers involved in the incident, and Bratton is cooperating with the Mexican witch hunt wholeheartedly.
The job of a police officer is amongst the toughest of professions, it is often a dirty and dangerous job with very little salaries and thanks involved. Officers only see people at their worst and all who wear the badge are keenly aware that the next call could be the last. The stress takes a tremendous toll on not only the officers themselves but on their families as well. Divorce is a common theme in all police departments.
A police officer often feels that the whole world hates them, that is one reason they become so close to one another. When one of their own betrays them to that outside world, it is devastating as well as inexcusable. LAPD Chief William Bratton has committed just such a betrayal.
Thank God for the tough and professional officers of the Los Angeles Police Department, they and those like them seem to be the only men left who are willing to stand up to the violent thugs now invading our cities.
