IRAN HAS DECLARED WAR ON THE U.S.
By John A. Ross (05/25/07)
A state of hostility, conflict or antagonism is a generally accepted definition of the word for war. Employing the tenets of asymmetric warfare, Iran is militarily, financially and politically attacking the U.S. around the world. In addition to funding and training Hizbollah, Iranian Republican Guards, or Pasdaran, are directly killing American soldiers in Iraq by building and training surrogates to use explosively formed penetrators or projectiles (EFPs). Intent upon financially weakening America, Iran has formed a European petroleum exchange that only accepts European Union (EU) currency. Using petroleum as a weapon, Iran buys unscrupulous world leaders support from the likes of the North Korean Kim Jong Il and the Venezuelan Hugo Chavez.
The Iranian people must be made aware that their government is directly and indirectly waging war against the U.S. It is absolutely mandatory that the Iranian people be made aware that the attacks on American forces and assets around the world by Iranian forces and their Hizbollah surrogates will ultimately result in an open conflict that could engulf all of Iran and much of the rest of the world. Clear, concise and, most importantly, accurate information delineating the terrorist sponsored acts that Iranian elements have perpetrated must be provided all Iranians, before one or both American and Iranian forces miscalculates the other.
A large sum, reportedly 75-million dollars, was handed the U.S. State Department this fiscal year to transmit radio and television information into Iran. Reports received indicate that the content of information being transmitted into Iran is, to be charitable, less than pointedly useful. Specifically, the ability to transmit information into Iran exists and financial resources have been allocated by congress to facilitate broadcasting to Iran. For some inexplicable reason, however, the U.S. State Department has elected to allow the opportunity to expose the Iranian government’s hand in killing Americans be wasted on music that few will even listen to.
On May the 9th, the following article was published in the DEBKA REPORT (WWW.DEBKA.COM):
“ April saw attacks in Iraq by Iran-made armor-piercing EFPs peak to 69, causing 14 US military deaths, injuring 47
May 9, 2007, 8:45 PM (GMT+02:00)
This was almost double the March figure of 38 attacks. The US military spokesman in Iraq reported Wednesday that suicide car bombings in Iraq were up 30% since January. He also confirmed that Iranian intelligence officials were now acting in support of select Sunni Muslim insurgent groups in Iraq.
Wednesday, a truck bomb killed 14 people, injured 87 in the Kurdistan capital of Irbil. Four Iraqi journalists were shot dead on the Kirkuk-Tikrit road in N. Iraq.”
Presenting Iran and their surrogates with American targets without, as a minimum, making the Iranian bastards that are responsible for killing and maiming our soldiers must cease. More succinctly, President Bush and all the other phony politicians that are benefiting from this war in Iraq must stop the charade and either win it, as we know how, or get the hell out. It is only fair that we inform the Iranian people that their government has been killing our soldiers. It is also fair to stop fighting with one hand tied behind our back.
