IMMIGRATION ALERT
By John A. Ross (06/08/07)
It is reasonable to assume that President Bush will grant blanket "amnesty" to illegal aliens in the United States sometime this summer. Using the "authority" he granted himself on 9 May 2007, President Bush signed 'The National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive 51 (NSPD-51)', on 9 May 2007. Along with NSPD-20, NSPD-51 establishes under the office of President Bush a "National Continuity Coordinator." Using the "authority" he, granted himself, it is quite plausible that in the event of radical Islamic terrorist actions in the U.S., blanket authority will be used to treat all U.S. inhabitants the same.
The sham immigration reform act that congress and senate has been manipulating is, in all likelihood, an attempt to lash together a bill that obliquely endorses the powers assumed with NPD-51. Recognizing that the American people will ‘resist’ being thrown into the same barrel as illegal immigrants, both houses of congress can point to legislation that “recognizes” everybody.
Predicated upon increased worldwide radical Islamic terrorist activity and ‘posturing’ Iran, Syria and North Korea is doing, analysts do not discount another summer war in the Middle East. Should another Middle East war break-out, proxy al-Qaeda, Hamas and Hizbollah sleeper-cells already in the U.S. can be expected to be activated by their sponsors in Iran, Pakistan, Syria and, unfortunately, Saudi Arabia to kill as many Americans as possible.
