Yo Quiero GOP

Approximately 90% of black Americans vote only for Democrats. However, a few decades ago blacks were more likely to vote for the party of Abraham Lincoln than for the party essentially founded by the Ku Klux Klan. Democrats by day/Klansmen by night, like Robert Byrd, Bull Conner and George Wallace were racist segregationists who wielded dogs, fire hoses and clubs in the civil rights battles.
Democrats won the black vote through grass roots organization, hard work, bribery and political pandering. They allied with civil rights leaders and recruited in black churches. The payoff for this support has been in destructive currency. Over the past forty years, as poverty has been nearly eradicated in the rest of America, it has barely changed for blacks. Black illiteracy rates are higher now than before the Civil War. Black illegitimacy has risen to its highest point in history (around 75%). Black on black crime, illegal drug use and gang violence has risen to the point where nearly 70% of black men have spent time in prison.
Black author and radio host, Larry Elder (the source for these statistics) has stated that had the Ku Klux Klan purposely enacted a plan to destroy black America, they could not have done as effective a job as the Democratic Party. Regardless of all the damage Democratic policies and politicians have done to black Americans, with few exceptions, their support of Democrats is unyielding. Republicans have lost the black vote.
Due to birth rates and immigration, Hispanics will soon be the largest ethnic group in America. Hispanics are entering our nation, poor and with little education; they are easy targets for Democrats who offer a utopian welfare state in return for their votes. Democrats prey upon Hispanics with the same infrastructure they use to secure the black vote. I come from a family of influential Democrats, and have seen it first hand. The Democratic machine runs all year; paid operatives work the churches and community centers. Leading up to the elections, there is money for everyone. Anyone who can deliver a few votes becomes a paid campaign worker. Campaign workers are given “walking around money.” Church vans are rented for exorbitant amounts to drive voters to the polls. Food, beer and cigarettes are traded for the homeless vote. Those who cannot read the ballot are coached and guided even by poll workers in Democratic areas. If the tally shows Republicans gaining, the buses roll to bring in voters, some vote multiple times and even the dead vote.
I care little for the complexion of America. If a burgeoning Hispanic population means there will be more women who look like Salma Hayek, I am tempted to find a cryogenics service and give them orders to wake me when the senoritas are here! However, the values enshrined in our Constitution are very important to me. It is these values that made our nation great, prosperous and free. If Democrats are allowed to do to Hispanics what they have done to blacks, America will be lost. Republicans must court the vote of Hispanics who are here legally, with the intent of gaining American citizenship. We should not pander, or support amnesty plans that reward law breaking and compromise national security. I am not saying that the GOP needs to court Hispanics – I mean you and me! Politics is war. It is the installation of our leaders or theirs, our ideology or theirs by bloodless means. In this war for the heart of our nation, it is essential that we all enlist. We can either help them become Americans, or let them turn America into Mexico!
Average conservative Americans must reach out to the Hispanics we encounter every day. They are our new friends and neighbors; to retreat into gated communities and social circles is not an option. We must help new immigrants enculturate into American society. We can help them find jobs and homes. We can make sure their children are enrolled in school and help them with transportation. Most importantly, we should help them learn English. All the while, we can teach them about America, about our Constitution, our system and the values that make us great. Once they have attained citizenship, we can register them to vote. Once they understand America, they will vote Republican for the same reasons we do - the good of our nation.
It only takes one generation for immigrants to become American. The children of new Hispanic immigrants can be as thoroughly American as the rest of us descendants of immigrants. We must reach out to them though, because it will not happen in schools that teach “diversity.” Democrats are counting on Hispanics staying poor and uneducated, pawns in their class warfare. It is up to us to help them attain the American dream. In so doing, we may just save our nation.
