Anti-2nd Amendment News Media Is Under-Reporting Horrific Connecticut Home Invasion

The case of a Connecticut family being robbed, beaten raped, murdered, and their home set ablaze presents a real-life horror story as well as a cautionary tale. However, the story has barely received a mention in the mainstream press. Apparently, the antics of the drunken slut Lindsay Lohan are more important to American newsrooms than is the torturous death of an innocent family...But why?
School nurse Jennifer Hawke-Petit, 48, was raped and strangled to death, her two daughters Haley, 17, and Michaela, 11, were also sexually assaulted and died of smoke inhalation as their assailants attempted to burn the crime scene to the ground. The lone survivor of the attack, William Petit was badly beaten and remains in the hospital. The ordeal lasted for six hours.
Joshua Komisarjevsky, 26 and Steven Hayes, 44 were arrested for the brutal crimes after hitting several police cars in their attempt to escape in the Petit's car. Both were on parole and have extensive rap sheets, including more than 20 burglaries between them.
These two human predators met last year while living in a drug treatment center in Hartford, Conn. The two have reportedly confessed to two other neighborhood break-ins the night before.
Though in 2002, a Bristol Superior Court Judge called Komisarjevsky "a cold calculating predator," this beast was allowed to prowl the community once again. Presumably, he will now be dealt with harshly and never harm another family...Too bad for the Petit family that did not happen sooner.
The prosecutor in this case Ronald Dearstyne has eluded to the fact that Komisarjevsky and Hayes were only armed with a knife and an air rifle. The meaningless lives of these two could have been easily ended by any member of the Petit family, had they been able to place hands on a gun. This particular reign of terror would have been prevented, their crime spree brought to an end, and the deadly social experiment wrought by a Connecticut parole board cancelled.
Of course, the liberal press does not want to report on how truly violent predators now skulk about our neighborhoods, as they seek out a parasitic existence on the fruits of our labor. Nor do they wish to expose the deadly mistakes of liberal judges and incompetent parole boards. However, what the wish to stifle most of all is how easily crime can be prevented by a well-armed public.
Though in this politically correct society it is now taboo to speak of it, the best and easiest way to protect your family and home is with a firearm. In fact, an armed homeowner is the one thing that strikes fear in the hearts of violent criminals.
Home alarm systems can be disabled, locks can be picked, and dogs though ideal companions (much better than humans), can be very unreliable for protection. However, a determined and well-armed homeowner can end the life of a thug with a simple squeeze of a trigger.
It is the obligation of every law abiding citizen to arm themselves, so that they can protect themselves and their families. The police will never be able to arrive in time to prevent harm to your family...It is up to you.
My Dad began training me in the use of firearms at an early age (7 or 8). I was taught to protect myself and my home, as well as my responsibility with which I was now endowed.
It is the duty of every parent to arm themselves and teach their children how to properly use a firearm. It is your Constitutional right and your responsibility as a Mom or Dad.
The lack of coverage on the Connecticut home invasion speaks to the fact that liberals fear a well-armed public just as much as do the criminals.
