Regards Social Security

I seldom post items, but today will be an exception.
First I must announce that I am on Social Security and so soon will be my wife.
Over some 40 years, we contributed to Social Security not by choice. The Government stated it was a required basic retirement support system.
And so when I went on Social Security, as expected I received a very basic retirement return.
If the Government took my money and wasted it on schemes, it is not my fault! They actually confiscated my money and refuse to admit guilt for stealing it!
Many people have the idea that Social Security payments go into a black hole. Sorry, most all of that money goes back into the economy.
We pay rent, pay sales taxes, pay property taxes, buy food, buy insurance, buy gas, buy electricity and most everything the non-retired person pays for.
Most of us don't pay Income Taxes, as do most Americans! (Check the laws and most Americans are exempt from Income Tax!)
As of today, my Social Security equates a pay of about $9.00 per hour without having to drive to work and pay all the hidden expenses and taxes.
Starting next month, I will pay about $111.00 per month for health insurance under Medicare, so my budget will shrink and I will adjust.
Social Security needs to be fixed by stopping Congress from stealing the contributions!
