'After The Primaries Will There Be Real Debates?'
By Malcolm Hedges (12/12/07)
Todays fiasco operated by the Progressive Broadcasting Scheme was not even close to a debate.
And so I would ask if "real debates" could surface when the Presidential Candidates are established?
Perhaps the candidates should finance the set down debates and exclude the MSM and fake unbiased groups from the mix.
Moderators would be nominated by the candidates (minimum 20) and the result determined by a draw from the pot by a non-associated person.
Subjects not questions would be the theme. A subject would be selected from a pool of at least 50 by draw and the candidates would get 10 minutes to freely discuss the issue.
The moderator would insure that in each case the first statement would rotate evenly between candidates. The moderator would be be tasked to monitor each candidate and terminate any response that exceeded 2.5 minutes.
Obvious canned speeches could be terminated immediately at the moderators discretion. No notes or cheat sheets for candidates allowed.
Moderators would get one session only.
