POLITICAL SLIM-PICKINS
By John A. Ross (01/02/08)
About six months ago the American people stepped up and notified the U.S. Senate that their S.1033 illegal alien amnesty bill backed by Ted Kennedy and John McCain was a loser and so were they, if they continued to push it through the legislative approval process. Infuriated earlier by massive demonstrations of Mexicans waving their flags and demanding U.S. citizenship in cities across the country, the U.S. Senate tried to quietly bootleg a backroom deal around the electorate. Saddled with legislators that, apparently, could give a flying expletive what approximately 86% of the American people want, change is, in fact, on their minds but it is not towards more non-productive socialism.
Familiar with people that talk out of both sides of their mouths’ voting American citizens are paying attention to the constantly changing positions the presidential candidates are gravitating towards. Plowing through their daily lives with a belly full of politically oriented facts, half-truths and lies that they are trying to digest, objective citizens are also watching and weighing the “dirty tricks” experts. Flowing through these great objective minds is a common strand of DNA like criteria that accepts that the next American president must also have the fortitude to keep our country safe and out of the clutches of terrorists and the United Nations.
Caught in a treadmill mindset that randomly fluctuates between stark terror, mortification and murderous anger contemplation, the American people are now grasping for stable civility. Longing for the predictable gentle life that they were brought up to take for granted most Americans want to change their country back to the place it was before the Clinton “liberals” were influential. Battered daily with emotional driven drivel by the mainstream media and press that epitomize the conflict management style of activist liberals, logical reasoning is a scarce commodity, today.
Feared, hated and admired for our dedication to democratic ideals, selflessness and willingness to sacrifice time, treasure and lives, Americans are unique. These values are the very fabric of our society and they are under siege by those that hate our freedoms, religions and unbound intellect.
Calmly awaiting the outcomes of the Iowa and New Hampshire primary electoral processes, most Americans expect that “problems” will crop up, during and immediately after the initial voting. Fraud in the form of unqualified out of state voters, last-minute “revelations” regarding the true positions of the candidates and their morals, or, lack of and frivolous “challenges” are anticipated. These and other “tricks” have become part and parcel of the liberal’s and their mainstream media and press accomplices’ deceptive arsenal designed to steal close elections.
Predicated upon where most Americans want their country to be soon after the 2008 presidential elections, the “pickins” appear to be mighty slim. Most of the candidates promise higher taxes to pay for a national health program that will become a national death program like all other socialized countries and will quickly drive our economy into cardiac arrest. Our logic minded Iowa and New Hampshire citizens must smoke-out an “electable” that will work to change American back to the safe, free and independent of so-called liberals that want to shove a nanny-state down our throats. A good starting point will be a strong position to support the U.S. military. Had the Clinton’s and their trusted advisors not decimated our armed forces during their days in The White House, odds are we would not be afraid of terrorism, China and being over ran by illegal aliens.
