'Do You Want A First Lady Who Is Ashamed Of This Country?'

Michelle Obama has sent shockwaves through the political world and has damaged her husband's bid for the White House with her recent remarks. To the casual observer, it may seem strange how the daughter of a city water department worker who went on to graduate from Princeton University as well as Harvard Law School could somehow hold a grudge against the nation where that journey took place. However, a closer look at the Obamas reveals where their true loyalties lie.
A few days ago, at a recent Wisconsin campaign rally, Michelle Obama told the crowd: "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country."
Really?...So Michelle Obama was not proud of her country when we came together in an out-pouring of support for those murdered by Islamic terrorists after we were attacked on September 11, 2001? She was not proud of her country when President H.W. Bush sent troops to Somalia to feed starving children? She was not proud of her country when our all-volunteer military went to Kuwait and expelled Saddam Hussein's murderous thugs from that country? She was not proud of her country when that same all-volunteer military made it possible for Afghani women to vote in an election for the first time in that nation's history? Nor has she been proud as Americans have continued to open their wallets to the tune of several billions of dollars for AIDS and famine relief in Africa, Asian Tsunami relief, and Katrina relief?
No, she apparently only feels proud of her country because so many of us have seen fit to vote for her husband. More to the point...that so many white people have seen fit to vote for her black husband!
Michelle Obama has a tremendous chip on her shoulder for someone who has benefited so greatly from affirmative action programs and race-based college admissions policies.
A look at the church which Barack and Michelle Obama attend may give some insight into her disgusting remark. They both belong to a black-separatist organization in Trinity United Church of Christ. The church describes itself on their website as "Unashamedly Black." While the church is located in Chicago, the congregation states: "We are an African people, and remain true to our native land, the mother continent, the cradle of civilization." They sell a large array of race-based books on their website and recently announced that they will honor the incredibly racist and anti-Semitic Louis Farrakhan with an 'Empowerment Award.'
An examination of the "Unashamedly" racist way in which these two worship as well as their apparent devotion to Africa, instead of their own nation may explain why Barack Obama refuses to place his hand over his heart when the National Anthem is played, or why he also refuses to wear an American flag pin on his lapel...He just as his wife has publicly announced, is ashamed of his country!
While I often protest against many of the actions taken by our government, I am always proud of my country. I am proud that I live in a country where we can criticize our often-idiotic or even traitorous elected officials without being hauled off to a prison camp, only to have my internal organs harvested for sale on the black market. I am proud to live in a country that saved the world from the bestial appetites of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. I am also proud to live in a country where even a racist nut-case like Michelle Obama can publicly show her disdain for the nation which has allowed her to acquire great privilege while her husband sits poised as the possible Democrat nominee for President.
Harriet Truman she aint!
