Excuse Me: Religious Control Of Any Government Is Dangerous
By Malcolm Hedges (03/23/08)
Over that last year or so, various religious factions have been calling for 'more religion in Government' in different ways.
Generally control of Government by a "religion" spells eventual undermining of that Government.
Religions are by design self-centered social organizations and generally politically naive.
Advocates of the "Socialist" religion have managed to directly or indirectly run the US Government for some 40 years and each year the quality of the Government has deteriorated.
Perhaps well meaning or perhaps devious groups and religions are continually pressing for more control of the US Government by religion...
Religion has it's place and is often beneficial to the social structure of a country, however most, if not all religions are self-centered and have not respect for political concerns.
To name a few (not all inclusive): Catholicism, Christianity, Environmentalism, GreeenIsm, Homosexualism, Islamism, Jewism, Progressivism and Socialism all have various agendas that conflict the better good of the host countries political health.
Granted many of these "isms" have become intertwined, on purpose or by accident. Whatever the reason, often their agendas are counter productive to a viable Republic.
Religious control does not belong in Government at any level. They are free and welcome to try to influence and suggest, but direct control invites political disaster.
Political candidates of any flavor that portend or pretend to be "faith based" by any religion are suspect. Likewise, Political candidates of any flavor that refuse they are beholding to any recognized or unrecognized religion or cult are suspect.
Hillary and Obama worship "Socialism", Huckabee embraced "Christianity", Mitt Romney is a Mormon (but that was just a minor factor exploited by MSM Socialists), John McCain seems to worship John McCain.
Various "religious leaders" and cultists demanding Control of The USA need to be politically squashed. This includes the various "Socialist" splinter groups that deny they are religious or cult movements.
A simple guess was that Mitt Romney was the best candidate for President, but various "religions" managed to squash his run in 2008...
