Leftist Mental Issues

What kind of mental derangement does it take to be a Leftist Liberal? Not just a Liberal mind you, but a true Left-Wing Liberal? Before even attempting to give an adequate answer to such a question we must reconsider the positions those on the far, far, far, far left continue to take.
It is their ideological beliefs, and their refusal to ever change these beliefs, which must be examined here. Anyone can make a mistake or adopt an ideological stance that is wrong. But most people also can learn and adapt when those beliefs are proven wrong.
Not so with the typical Leftist Liberal though. No matter how wrong they are proven to be they refuse to change their minds. They refuse to open their minds even the slightest little bit. Instead of considering information which proves the to be wrong they simply spout their lies a little louder or attack those giving the new information.
Let us take a look at some of these completely inane positions these folks take and consider just how deranged they must be.
Consider the recent wave of anti-American protesters.
Before the war they predicted catastrophes for Iraqi civilians and our soldiers. They swore there would be thousands of innocents slaughtered by our evil bombs. They swore we would find no weapons of mass destruction, and they swore the Iraqis would never celebrate our presence.
Well they have been proven to be dead wrong on every single point. Yet, they still are spouting the same asinine slogans and arguments. Surely they can watch the news like the rest of us. So why are their minds not processing the information? Is their hatred for America simply blocking out any good news? Is admitting they were wrong so difficult?
Of course there are many other Leftist ideals which they cling to despite mounting evidence. Guns continue to be sworn off as evil by these misguided souls. In every State, which has the guts to consider a concealed carry law the opposition always, uses the same tactics to oppose the law.
They rant and rave about blood in the streets, and wild shootouts and maniacs shooting everyone in sight. Of course such tragedies have never occurred in the many States which allow citizens to carry guns. In fact in those States violent crime has dropped. But the campaign of fear and lies against these obviously beneficial lies continues.
When faced with the reality of guns reducing crime the Leftist Liberal will simply make up new lies about the number of children killed or about how these laws increase crime. We know they are lying, even they know they are lying; yet they refuse to admit to being wrong.
Abortion is the same as well. Sonograms and ultrasounds have long since removed any doubt whether or not the unborn are human and alive. Yet the hard line Leftist Liberals refuse to acknowledge their error in thinking abortion does not kill an innocent baby. Show them a sonogram and they will go ballistic, accusing you of hating women, hating sex, hating children, hating freedom, and not brushing after every meal.
Call me crazy for saying so but anyone who has such reactions to medical facts has some mental issues. Some very serious issues.
Still not convinced? Still think these Leftist Liberals do not need some mental health care? Try convincing them Bush won the 2000 election. But be prepared for the tantrum they will no doubt throw. No four-year-old who did not get a new toy they wanted ever acted half as childishly as a Leftist Liberal still swearing that Bush stole the election.
Every recount re-confirmed a Bush victory, yet they still cling to their Gore really won fantasy. This is sad my friends. Such delusions are truly pathetic. Such mental malfunctions need to be examined by a professional.
There are too many examples of just how out of touch Leftist Liberals are to list in full detail. But the evidence is very clear to see. These people do not reside in the real world. No one who does can think the things they think.
To a Leftist Liberal the American flag means oppression. A flag which means freedom and opportunity to millions of people in truly oppressed nations means nothing but bad things to these folks.
To a Leftist Liberal one Iraqi civilian killed accidentally by an American bomb is many times worse than tens of thousands of Iraqis killed by Saddam Hussein.
To a Leftist Liberal opposing illegal immigration is equal to hating Hispanics and fighting Terrorism is equal to hating Arabs and Islam.
The examples are numerous and clear. Those who adopt the ideology of the far left are playing with a 51 card deck my friends. Their elevator misses a few floors; they are in left field without a glove, etc. And while it may be truly fun to prove these folks wrong and to laugh at their wacky
ideals, it may also be time to ask them to seek mental help.
