That is unless you like the gas prices

Ok folks I have already received three emails directing me to go to my favorite gas station and buy 10 gallons of gas in order to see if that station is pulling the wool over my eyes and not giving me what I am paying for. The only real problem I have is this could have been started by any gas station trying to drum up business, stop and think for a just a moment here the email directs you to go and buy ten gallons of gas, sorry guys if I were going to do that it would be because I needed it not because I had some need to blame the gas prices on someone. While we are on the subject I buy gas when my van says I need to, not by some special day just to teach the big gas companies a lesson. We are all hurting and I know it is only natural to want to blame someone, to strike out, but if you really want someone to blame, go take a look in the mirror.
Because we thought it might be nice to save some land for owls, bears, otters and all of Gods creatures we have essentially handed our energy dependence to the ecological maniacs who will not allow us to drill in our own country. Our concern for Mother Nature has in affect translated into $4.00 a gallon at the pump. This is not Bush’s fault, this isn’t even the fault of the Middle Eastern countries or big oil, it is our checks to Greenpeace and other organizations that has landed us high and dry and at the mercy of any country who wishes to black mail us with either higher prices for oil or the refusal to pump it and it is all because we decided to save Gods creatures. Now you can continue to deny it all you want, you can blame whom ever you please but it all boils down to the fact that the more oil we drill in America the less likely we are to be at the mercy of any other country.
Big oil is only doing what anyone else in a business does and that is to collect a profit and if we continue to tax them to death so that they to end up having to lay off people or simply close their doors where in the hell do you think that is going to leave us? We have enough people out of work right now do we really need all of the oil company employees competing for jobs as well? Then we have the miracle hybrid cars that are destined to save the world only problem is if we can’t afford gas how on earth do they figure Mr. Average Joe can ever afford one of those? The more they tax the oil companies the more we are going to pay for gas and everything else simply because the oil companies are not going to just simply absorb those costs they are going to pass them on to you and I and we in turn will be forced to raise our prices and sooner or later the public will say enough and either riot or just simply stop buying gas and start walking.
If you want to strike out at someone do it the free and easy way, call this number 1-866-340-9281 and tell them to allow us to drill in America and to do it now. Tell them to stop taxing the oil companies to pretend they are doing something and open up drilling in Alaska. If you are wondering who that phone number belongs to it belongs to our senate it is a switchboard where you can ask to speak to any senator you want, they don’t think this is that big a problem because you have not told them it is. You see unless there is a great out pouring of public sentiment that we should be drilling here at home and that we want our gas prices lowered they will do nothing but tax the oil companies and by the way, they have not been sending any of that money that they already taxed them for to me, what about you? No, well then I guess we know whose pockets that money is lining now don’t we? It is time that we the American taxpayers demand these people start working for us for a change, it is time we demand that our natural resources be tapped and that we have those jobs here at home and that oil here at home. That is unless you like the gas prices…
