Last evening Bill O'Reilly pretty much put himself into the tank with the Progressive anti-oil gang.

Pro Global Warming crisis "Green" adverts are everywhere. There is no serious coverage of the Senate elitists efforts to squash the economy. Geraldo Rivera continues to push his Progressive agenda with never a comment?

Lots of coverage of car chases, helicopter crashes and train accidents but very little serious examination of social and political reality?

It's pretty well documented that FNC is getting funding from Arab Mideast sources and that the top owner is drifting further toward the Left as each days go by.

FNC was an interesting exercise, too bad it has become just another MSM outlet that seems to have no identity with Real Americans.

The Financial offerings generally are less obviously leaning Left and still can be generally considered as close to reality.

Overall the political coverage tends to be more open and "fair" than the average MSM, however there are gaping holes in their coverage. The question is why.

Is it because of design, ineptitude or blind stupidity? I have no real clue, but personally think it is a most likely some obscure combination of all three factors.

FNC is based in D.C. and New York so the staff most probably has little concept of identifying with real Americans.

Most all of the advertising machine is dedicated to Progressivism, so FNC is subjected to certain pressures from that faction.

Significant investments from Arab Mideast sources raises the possibility of editorial influence.

All of this is speculation, however I get the impression that for some reason FNC is drifting Left and for me that is not a good thing.

After High School in Oregon and a semester at Arizona State, I tried a few options and then went off to the Army from '64 to '73. Got some good schooling under the "old" GI bill in Tucson, which gave me an AS in Business. For various reasons landed in LA, and by '78 became a "Test Engineer". Along that path I had some very interesting positions including 6 1/2 years on the Space Telescope, for economic reasons I jumped Silicon Valley and returned to Tucson in 1993. No real jobs in Tucson, so relocated to the Phoenix area in 1995. '95 -'04 various contract and "permanent" positions in all kinds of interesting areas. Jan '05 was "retirement" time. So just tend to 80+ websites and try to find time to relax :=) On the side, I am the Editor of American Daily.
