Editorial: Faction Voters Are Undermining The USA
By Editor (06/01/08)
Thanks to the Democrats and to some extent the Republicans, many voters could care less about the Republic, they vote for their faction.
zzz-Americans vote for stuff that will benefit them, to hell with everybody else. You can see it all over the media, MSM mostly but some New Media as well.
It's pretty much a given that most of the political fragmentation we have was engineered by the Democrats. The Democrat(ic) party has always been a gaggle of factions that gathered under the common umbrella to receive promised favors.
The MSM thrives on categorizing people of all flavors because they worship Socialism and equality except in poverty don't compute.
To Democrats and other Progressives there is no generic American, there has to be some faction related reason for an individuals political stance.
A broad observation is that all the pandering and analysis boils down to figuring out which faction will easily sucker for Socialism and which faction needs special attention to be drawn into the fold.
Factions determined to be generally in total rejection of Socialism are branded as "Right Wing Nuts" or some similar label. Such groups or factions are then targeted for political and social attacks and branded as subversive.
The RNC and Republicans seem to work on a similar scheme but with somewhat less venom.
To stupid me, an American is an American and to hell with all this crap about what group(faction) they belong to! If a person decides their group(faction) is more important than being an American, they have declared that being an American isn't important and they should just leave!
Whatever the reason, it seems there are few voters remaining that don't have a personal agenda based on the faction that they worship.
I try to vote for the USA, when it's an option. Sometimes that vote may well not favor my faction (retired senior), but if it is best for the Republic I go for it.
Basically when it comes to push or shove, if you can't vote for the future of the Republic, you need to find a new place to squat!
