Lettuce Examine Newsvine (Revised*)

Newsvine is a Left leaning 'blog' that portends to be a 'news discussion' outlet.
Newsvine is a "blog" or "pseudo forum" because they openly encourage comments rather than just publishing their "content".
On some several occasions, they have rejected or removed postings for being "Right-Wing" which by all means is their right and at the same time reveals they are "Left-Wing" Socialist worshipers.
I have no problem with that posture. The real issue is that they imply (by omission) to be a non-partisan news discussion offering:
"Newsvine's primary purpose is to provide a place for people to share and discuss topics relating to the news."
*NOTE: It seems there is a "rightwingers" area on Newsvine: http://rightwing.newsvine.com/
However, it seems discussion or opinion not in-line with the Progressive "politically correct" agenda is not considered appropriate for their pages.
Again that is their right, however such an editorial position is not mentioned on the site.
I spoke briefly with Neal (AD editor), he noted that Newsvine has a great business model catering to the young Progressive Socialist Internet savvy audience. He also noted, if he was looking to make big bucks he could start a good porn site or a similar profit driven Left-Wing blog venue, however neither was a viable option.
I would note that AD has an area that will post items from the Left that are fit for public consumption. Neal mentioned that such postings are not solicited and will not be included in the AD RSS feed.
If you enjoy Progressive discussions Newsvine is a very well done exercise. If you don't enjoy Progressive discussions, Newsvine is a poor choice.
The real shame is that there are so many naive business operators that think they will survive after the beloved Progressive Socialism model they promote destroys the US business structure.
Maybe they know something that real Americans don't?
