California has restricted everything they need to survive in the name of 'Greenism'.

Water has become a premium product for the elite, energy is mostly imported and rationed, the basic cost of living is outrageous, taxes are criminal and the state literally burns thanks to basic stupid 'greenie' policies.

Smart firms that need reliable and reasonably priced electrical energy to survive are running from California at a rapid pace. California refuses to generate energy for it's own needs?

A basic middle class income model means you need to make $100,000+ per year to just survive in California. Otherwise, you just kinda exist from day to day...

Taxes of all sort contrived or fabricated decimate the population. Those taxes do mostly nothing except strangle the average person for spending money. Business need customers with spending money and so they start to suffer and then evaporate. Thus unemployment increases and the tax revenues shrink and shrink, etc.

The Peoples Republik Of Kalifornia is basically on the road toward self-imposed economic collapse.

Some many years ago, California was a truly great place for opportunity. However, it has evolved into a Progressive Socialist quagmire. (I did a few cycles in Kalifornia: 1963, 1975-1981 and 1984-1992. Each time the quality deteriorated.)

Since 1992, the situation has rapidly grown more dire. A few discrete visits as a "tourist" have revealed the general demise of the state.

What remains of Kalifornia is running on auto-pilot and the real pilot has escaped to a real state...
