'Education Or EdukShun?'

Since the latter part of the 1960's, the American school system has deteriorated as each year has passed.
Some 80% or more of this mess is operated by various Progressive Socialist bureaucrats, teachers, professors and Unions.
Generally the only actual signs of education happening are found in the some 20% of institutions that are charter, private or religious (other than Socialist).
Only the most prestigious of graduates from public schools can actually read and write English or add 3+3 and discover it equals 6!
History and "actual Social Studies" have been replaced by Politically Correct Socialist driven pap that is just very thinly disguised Socialist orientation material.
As someone noted the other day, the "High School Diploma" has sunk to such a low value that a useless College Degree is looking to be the minimum requirement for an entry level position.
This falls in line with the Progressive Socialist grand agenda since the longer kids attend the training camps the stupider they get. A stupid populace is easier to control and convince that Socialism works.
An excellent example is one Senator Obama that thinks we have 57 states...
Another serious but not well publicized aspect of the "No College Education Means Economic and Social Disaster" dogma is that the service industry that keeps our country running is starving for qualified mechanics and technicians.
The Progressive Socialist machine harps daily that people whole do those jobs are in a low class because they don't have a College Degree.
A quick review of the stats will reveal that those low class non College Grads usually make 2 to 3 times the annual income of College Grads and often much more!
As a general statement, the biggest percentage of College Grads are qualified for nothing but being College Students. Most have never worked a day in their life, they have lived in a fantasy world for 16 years or more while been "eduktated" by professors and teachers that couldn't hold a real job if their existence depended on it!
This is very obvious in the "real business world" which is inundated with College "qualified" graduates that refuse to work and have no clue about actually doing assigned tasks to get a paycheck. In school they were taught that all they had to do was show up once in a while to get grades(i.e. paycheck), no work required.
Seldom acknowledged is that middle management is infested with the same College edukated mush-minds who have no clue about management. That last cycle of people that attended school and got an education is dying, retiring or just giving up because of the exasperation and stress of working with idiots and sponges.
A rather basic example of this problem is as follows: I left the big city on a trip of some 2,600 miles in my truck and noticed the tires were out of balance even though I had them balanced just a couple of months before by a "reputable service". I happened to pass by a known good service vendor in Nevada and asked them to balance my tires. After about 15 minutes, I was candidly informed that the tires had been previously balanced by someone that had no clue about what they were doing. Needless to say, for the rest of the 2400 miles the tires were in perfect balance!
If the workers are stupid and the management equally so, that company (or organization) can do nothing but slide by day to day.
Our skools need to be fixed! The teachers Unions need to be disbanded and teachers rewarded for excellence instead of pushing the Socialist agenda. (Once the Socialist teachers Unions are evicted, education will start to return.)
All Professors and Teachers must be required to pass stringent qualification reviews or tests. School management should be mandated to be staffed at a level of 50% by a mix of parents, constituents without children and business owners. All of those "public" members would receive pay and compensation comparable to the bureaucrats.
