I Like Beer

Budweiser products are not beer! Once upon a time, I was exposed to real "bier" in Holland (The Nederlands). At best ,I would suggest the Budweiser line is a semi-German brew with the associated bitterness.
Some years ago, I purchased and consumed various Budweiser beers by choice and at some point decided it was not the way to go.
Once upon a time there was a "Natural Pilsner" by Budweiser that was a pretty good beer and it was dropped.
A few real "bier" offerings from Holland managed to be imported to the USA, I supported them until they eventually were dropped.
The true crap imported into the US by Amstel and Heineken is Americanized junk! It ain't "bier" anymore it's "beer" and it sucks!
I must note that if real Amstel and Heineken have become junk I have no way to test the status.
Now that the Budweiser machine has been purchased by InBev (Belgium), the future is problematic, some Belgium beers have been pretty fair.
Perhaps InBev will enhance the Budweiser product? It remains to be seen.
