'The Biggest Issue About Iran: Who Will Control Air Traffic?'
By Malcolm Hedges (08/04/08)
With all the bombers, fighters and missiles converging on Iran at the same time, Air Traffic Control is a serious consideration.
It's very obvious Iran pretty is much ready and willing to attack most everything they can imagine with conventional and nuclear armament.
And so it follows that the Iranian military machine must be squashed before it can run wild and destroy much of the Middle East and Europe. If their propaganda can be believed, they have a capability to reach the USA as well.
To be truly effective the "cleansing" of Iran's military machine needs to be accomplished in a time period of maybe 6 hours or less. It can be accomplished, but such a huge concentration of firepower needs some serious management.
The only serious contenders to be participants are Israel and the USA. Israel has a well defined self-protection interest in neutralizing Iran, that position has been established by Iran NOT Israel. Iran has pretty much indicated the US and anybody that deals with them is on their target map.
Israel has a secondary military threat from being surrounded by Iranian surrogate military and terrorist organizations.
Iran and Syria are pretty much surrounded in terms of a ground based military operation. That aspect is most probably to be minimal, but if needed there is a significant force available.
Small brained fanatical tyrants with a ton of money and piles of weapons need to be brought under control, one way or another. If diplomacy and sanctions fail...
The only question other than Air Traffic Control is, when?
