Whatever, just be prepared to try to stay warm. Beef up home insulation if needed and be sure your vehicles are up to snuff and anti-freeze is current.
If your wardrobe is a little shy of warm clothing you might want beat the rush and pick up a few items.
Heating method of your home should be reviewed:
- Greens hate electricity so the prices will continue to skyrocket.
- Heating oil may well become a luxury, review you locality.
- Wood and/or coal might be an option.
- Natural Gas or Propane should be investigated.
I happen to live in the desert, winters can be pretty cool in a regular year so I anticipate progressively lower temperatures each year. Desert dwelling tend to be more concerned with high summer temperatures, winter heating usually is a secondary issue.
Unlike "Global Warming", Global Cooling is apolitical and brought to us by The Earth and The Sun. When these two happen to get in sync, climate extremes are pretty much a given.
