'Will America Elect A Socialist President?'

Following the four steps generally associated with the scientific method to prove a hypothesis sufficient data is available to more than substantiate that Senator Barack Obama is a socialist. Identifiable patterns and trends observed postulate or give birth to an hypothesis that can lead to predictions that then must be tested to determine the reliability of the original hypothesis. Avoiding, as much a possible, emotion based issues and sticking to actual records like voting history five areas, or patterns were selected to test the hypothesis that Senator Obama is a socialist.
The areas or patterns selected include: a. Voting records, b. Legislative proposals submitted, or supported, c. Campaign statements, d. Associations (people and organizations), e. Biography. Acknowledging that assessing an individual’s true intent, statements often must be dismissed as expedient political rhetoric, or bureaucratic syntax and weighed against actual performance factors. Specifically, judge people by what they do and not what they say. These weighting factors were used to assign, or dismiss validity to the hypothesis: a. Definitely likely-5. b. Likely-4. c. Neutral-3. d. Not likely-2. e. Definitely not likely-1. Divide the resultant number of all weighted tests performed by the number of tests, to arrive at a determination.
Numerous tests were performed using actual source data available from, ostensibly, unbiased sources. For example, data elements that could be associated with MOVEON.Org and only reported on HUMANEVENTS.Com were not used in the testing of the hypothesis that Obama is a socialist. The old adage that ‘liars figure and figures lie’ would apply, if the “hypothesis tester” is prone to skewing the process by not being objective.
Rather than bore the reader with the writers’ results, the reader is invited to use the above procedure to arrive at their own results and, with a little honesty, compel the “tester” to accept whether they are, in fact, objective. In summary, analysis of the source data evaluated and assessed substantiated the hypothesis that Senator Obama is, in fact, a socialist and could be defined, based upon associations, a communist.
Accepting that Senator Obama is a socialist is now a forgone conclusion. Another forgone conclusion is that America must become energy independent and anyone in Congress that does not support this reality must be voted out of office. America needs a comprehensive energy program that is not tied to vague socialist ideals. The American people are prepared to meet the energy crises head on, however, the obstructionists need to get the hell out of our way.
