Progressive Socialists in Congress helped by their good buddy bureaucrats enabled if not facilitated this whole mess. They demanded mortgages for unqualified people, banks and mortgage brokers were happy to comply. Somehow basic rules for stock trading were eliminated or overlooked.

A certain unnamed Demercrat Progressive Socialist Senator did a leak and destroyed a bank, after that the pressure on the system began to mount and so here we are.

Fannie and Freddie were essentially bureaucratic piggy banks for Progressive Socialists, bureaucrats are pretty much automatons, get them unionized and you have total crap.

The wife used to work in such a government environment and was actually harassed for working too hard and recommending better more efficient methods.

Ok, it also happens in real businesses where idiots are trying to retain their jobs. I worked with people before being stupid became the norm, they had no clue what their job was or how to do it and just skated from day to day.

The fact is that in bureaucracies it is the norm to be inefficient. By no means are all bureaucrats mush-minds, smart ones will shut up and become inefficient, they can then retain their jobs.

As I watch TV, the situation changes by the minute and bureaucrats just be bureaucrats.

Progressive Socialists have created a monster beyond all their dreams, Comrade Commissar Obama if he wins will inherit a broken country!

After High School in Oregon and a semester at Arizona State, I tried a few options and then went off to the Army from '64 to '73. Got some good schooling under the "old" GI bill in Tucson, which gave me an AS in Business. For various reasons landed in LA, and by '78 became a "Test Engineer". Along that path I had some very interesting positions including 6 1/2 years on the Space Telescope, for economic reasons I jumped Silicon Valley and returned to Tucson in 1993. No real jobs in Tucson, so relocated to the Phoenix area in 1995. '95 -'04 various contract and "permanent" positions in all kinds of interesting areas. Jan '05 was "retirement" time. So just tend to 80+ websites and try to find time to relax :=) On the side, I am the Editor of American Daily.
