Sarah Palin: 'Faith. . .Is My Foundation'

Sean Hannity asked Sarah Palin about her faith in his Thursday telecast.
Sarah Palin answered succinctly. She in short stated that “faith. . .is my foundation.” She went on to state that she does not wear her religion on her sleeve. She does not try to convert anybody.
In her brief statement she was especially wise for liberals were just waiting for Sarah Palin to turn into a TV evangelist. They know she is evangelical, belonging to biblical believing communities and active in her community’s Assembly of God.
Therefore, liberals were salivating for Sarah Palin to come off as a Bible thumper. She is not. She never will be. She is too wise to be so stupid as to fall for the trap that liberals would set for her.
Sarah Palin is a born again Christian, totally committed to biblical ethics and holding faith in God to return this nation back to the God of the Bible.
In that conviction, Sarah Palin derives her personal confidence. She knows that her life is not her own; it belongs to her Lord. Because of that she is fearless. Because of that she does not lash out at her foes but instead resigns them over to the Lord.
Sarah Palin is an exceptionally savvy believer in that she knows how to grow in soul while working with all kinds of citizens—believers and non-believers. That is the route that any truly genuine Christian takes.
Christ never forces Himself on a soul. “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone opens, I will come in with him to sup with him.” Christ’s words.
Christ knocks on the soul door. He never pushes open the door.
For Christ to force His saving grace upon any soul would be to rob that person’s free will. Christ created that free will; why would he then rob that from a human being? He doesn’t.
So it is with a biblical believer. That disciple honors the free will of every other individual. So it is that Sarah Palin holds tenaciously to her own biblical convictions while giving every other mortal the
choice to decide as he and she would like.
Sarah Palin’s faith is her foundation. It makes her strong intellectually and spiritually. It provides her with a scandal-free lifestyle. It enables her to channel her energies creatively for family, friends and country.
It is incumbent upon every like Christian to vote for the John McCain / Sarah Palin ticket in order to plant in Washington DC that kind of biblical faith.
