I would ask what he is 'patriotic to'? Over some many years, Obama has openly embraced Progressive Socialism and even more Leftist agendas and concepts.

The Republic was generated as a Union of States under a common umbrella dedicated to economic, political, religious and social freedom for the populace.

Socialism is dedicated to economic, political, religious and social control of the general populace with the "elitist leaders" living as fat cats while the seething masses try to make it from day to day.

The two issues above are obviously mutually exclusive.

I will venture to suggest that a little bit of Socialism can be a workable model, expansive, intrusive or pure Socialism is a well proven unworkable model.

Under Socialism mediocrity is the norm, there are no rewards for excellence (very often severe penalties for such outrageous behavior).

Therefore Comrade Obama cannot be an "American Patriot" as he is a "Patriot" of Progressive Socialism.

As a side note, Progressive Socialists are well known to disregard reality because they are driven by their agenda.

Progressive Socialists of all flavors thrive in the US, they have had great success with their programs to undermine the political, religious and social fabric of the USA. The current "economic crisis" was engineered by them and may well be the last nail in the coffin!

If we get a Comrade Commissar President Obama in January 2009 supported by Comrade Pelosi and Comrade Reid running Congress, Socialism will run wild and the forecast is for storms, general economic stagnation and a total clamp down on freedom of speech and thought.
