The Courage To Be American
By John A. Ross (10/16/08)
Rummaging through some purported intellectual remains, it has become apparent that there are torn Americans trying to come to grips with the ‘change’ liberals-socialists are attempting to sell voters. Stuck between some peer acceptance and approval and consciously knowing that following the liberal-socialist crowd is patently stupid, American patriots must soon vote their conscience. Bombarded with mainstream media and press to be more like Old Europe’s pliant automatons and less like free spirited Americans, the American-Dream is on the line on the 4th of November.
Americans have been placed under tremendous political correct liberal-socialist demands that, for example, being forced to admit that you are a patriot is akin to, of all things, believing in God. Analyzing this dichotomy one should always remember that: You will never find an atheist (i.e. liberal-socialist) in a foxhole.
Being an American patriot takes a whole bunch of courage, similar to believing in God. Before you vote next month, take ten-minutes and make logic based, not emotion based, decisions what you want for America and the generations that will follow all of us.
