Hatred: The Weapon That Destroys!
By Debbie Daniel (04/21/04)
And I thought it might be an explosive, look like a bomb; something that we might see in the movies . . . that blows-up and destroys.
But no, the weapons of mass destruction are right here in front of our very eyes. It’s the HATRED we see everyday that’s being detonated on the American people. Turn on your TV – it emanates like a vapor from our network newsrooms and from the reporters on the streets. Read your newspapers and feel the floodgates of hate open wide.
It’s the MEDIA; a definite weapon of mass destruction. It spreads hate and poisons our minds faster than could be emitted from any bomb.
Listen to Andy Rooney tell us there are no heroes in Iraq. If there are no heroes in Iraq, there certainly weren’t any in Viet Nam – so what’s John Kerry talking about? Andy, he obviously hasn’t heard your declaration yet.
So, Johnny Boy, put your medals back in the box, we’re not having “show and tell” now.
Did you watch the press conference last week with George Bush? The reporters were not only on a mission to prove the President “messed up” before 9/11, they were determined to publicly humiliate him. The vomit spews 24 hours a day; the weapons are being discharged right in our own homes and we don’t even see it.
It’s Ted Kennedy; he’s his own weapon of “mass” destruction; determined to bring down this President if he has to do it with his own bare hands. Just look at him; listen to how he lashes out at our Commander-in-Chief, George Bush, calling him a liar.
What a pitiful sight, but we just let him screech on; he’s a defiant buffoon, but a weapon nonetheless.
Why the man didn’t have the moral distinction of what to do with Mary Jo Kopechne in the back seat of his car. He could have saved her life . . . there was time . . . but he chose not to. She wasn’t dead when he left her there. Maybe we should finally hold court over you, Mr. Kennedy; you who insinuates our President is a murderer. You, who spent ten hours “concocting” an excuse for yourself and a story of how this young woman died. I’ll tell you how she died – she drowned . . . plain and simple, because you were too “confused” to help her out of the car, Teddy.
But he doesn’t care about people in his back seat . . . he’s wanted to be in the front seat for so long that he looks like a salivating dog ready to finally feel the glory of the Presidency vicariously through his puppet, JFK2. Why a vote for Kerry will practically make Ted Kennedy “KING.” Hail to you, Sir Kennedy! You’ve finally arrived!
Another weapon is the disloyalty to our country; the disrespect to our president, and the disservice to ourselves. Our lack of trust, combined with this sheer unbridled hatred will destroy us.
Apathy and indifference is the “dust of death:” a poison that will kill as deadly as a nuclear bomb. It’s eating away at our very being; it’s become so ugly, we hardly know one another.
The HATE that is showing on people’s faces has actually rendered them unrecognizable. We’ve turned on each other and the ravages of hate will surely destroy.
It’s the HATE, not the bombs, not the gasses, not the anthrax, or any other “conventional” weapon that will finally kill us – it will be our broken spirits accompanied by disregard for what is right that will stop our hearts from beating.
The only thing we should hate is terrorism – we’ve misdirected our allegiance.
It’s one thing to stand up against the HATE the terrorists have for us, but to have to stand up against the HATE John Kerry and his ilk display is reprehensible.
And if you don’t see it happening . . . you’ve been blinded and don’t know it. We’ve been at the mercy of these “purveyors of hate” who’ve rained malice and bitterness on us for months. It’s been a torrential downpour of rage under the guise of concern for you and me.
Listen again to Howard Dean’s tirade; to Hillary Clinton’s scream; to Al Gore’s conniption fit, and Ted Kennedy’s vile accusations . . . it’s all HATE.
Don’t delude yourself . . . they don’t care about you or me; it’s all about power . . . and they want it back, whatever the cost.
Our president encouraged us to go forward with our pledge . . . “We will finish the work – we must not waver.” Have we all gone to the bench to sit and look at this coach with disdain because some think they have a better way to fight this war?
George Bush said, “A desperate enemy is a more dangerous enemy.” And, of course, he’s talking about the terrorists, but do you know . . . the minute he said that, all I could think of was the liberals who’ve been out of power, and through their desperation have become absolutely dangerous, not only to themselves, but to this country.
Kerry is so self-absorbed that he believes only he knows how to fight a war . . . that he’s God’s gift to mankind.
George Bush is such a man of God that he feels for every single day we’ve remained safe, it’s a gift from God.
Isn’t it amazing how differently these men view not only themselves, but how they view God? One with arrogance; the other with humility. You decide which best describes each man.
And yes, I question John Kerry’s patriotism. Every time he feels it’s being challenged, he huffs and puffs. Why, our network newscasters won’t even wear American flag pins for fear it will offend someone. So, indeed I challenge their patriotism, too . . . no matter how loud they cry.
President Bush does not owe the American people an apology for 9/11. We owe him an apology for not being a better “team” member and supporting him as our leader after we were so viciously attacked.
Every 24 hours that we’re not inflicted by “pain” on our soil is one more day of victory and I’ve yet to hear these pathetic leaders stand up and say, “Thank you, Mr. President.”
