It would seem that most had no clue and were just following the crowd.

The MSM embraced and swooned about the Obama candidacy saturating the airwaves with proclamations about a candidate with no basis or fabric.

Mr. Obama won the election and only then did the MSM actually bother to mention they had no clue about him or his real intentions.

Indications are that voters made their mark indicating that they wanted Mr. Obama to be President because he was black, cool or promised tax cuts and a free ride.

Mr. Obama is 1/2 black, that has nothing to do with his qualifications to be President.

Mr Obama promised tax cuts and a free ride, that has nothing to do with his qualifications to be President.

Since his Demercrat Party managed to almost destroy the world economy while screwing around, the only free ride will be toward abstract poverty.

Voters essentially blindly voted for a dream President and they got a rank amateur who might manage to be a "President".

Senator McCain failed to demonstrate that he had some possibility of being a viable "President" and thus fell to the wayside.

I sincerely and selfishly hope that a President Obama surprises most of us and manages to become a President.

Early indications are that a President Obama will preside over the decimation of the Republic.

"Slick Willy" was a mediocre to poor President, however the Republic somehow survived...

After High School in Oregon and a semester at Arizona State, I tried a few options and then went off to the Army from '64 to '73. Got some good schooling under the "old" GI bill in Tucson, which gave me an AS in Business. For various reasons landed in LA, and by '78 became a "Test Engineer". Along that path I had some very interesting positions including 6 1/2 years on the Space Telescope, for economic reasons I jumped Silicon Valley and returned to Tucson in 1993. No real jobs in Tucson, so relocated to the Phoenix area in 1995. '95 -'04 various contract and "permanent" positions in all kinds of interesting areas. Jan '05 was "retirement" time. So just tend to 80+ websites and try to find time to relax :=) On the side, I am the Editor of American Daily.
