Never in 65 years was I polled by one of the big guns.

The pollster was a very pleasant young lady from Gallup who worked hard to proceed thru the cycle.

Because of no fault of her own, she asked the questions of which maybe 25 to 30% were loaded and unanswerable by a thinking person.

Many questions were very obviously designed to indicate that I embraced Progressive Socialism, no matter what I answered.

Other questions were Socialist blinds that couldn't reflect actual opinion.

Based on my personal experience, I suggest that poll results published by Gallup should be considered as being more Socialist biased pap.

Being an ol' fart, I previously hoped the Gallup poll was valid.. So much for hope....

NOTE: I have recently participated in at least one other poll which was obviously subtly biased toward promoting Socialism, the Gallup Poll I responded to was unabashedly biased toward promoting Socialism!

Did you know that the "Good Housekeeping" seal of approval goes to whoever pays the fee??? It seems the Gallup Poll results are equally questionable.

After High School in Oregon and a semester at Arizona State, I tried a few options and then went off to the Army from '64 to '73. Got some good schooling under the "old" GI bill in Tucson, which gave me an AS in Business. For various reasons landed in LA, and by '78 became a "Test Engineer". Along that path I had some very interesting positions including 6 1/2 years on the Space Telescope, for economic reasons I jumped Silicon Valley and returned to Tucson in 1993. No real jobs in Tucson, so relocated to the Phoenix area in 1995. '95 -'04 various contract and "permanent" positions in all kinds of interesting areas. Jan '05 was "retirement" time. So just tend to 80+ websites and try to find time to relax :=) On the side, I am the Editor of American Daily.
